Located just across the street from the public beach access, this spacious home features a large furnished patio and sprawling second-floor balcony with spectacular Gulf views. Lion on the Beach also offers fun outdoor amenities like a basketball hoop and cornhole. An outdoor shower provides the perfect spot to rinse off after a day at the beach. With accommodations for up to 18 guests, including a bunk room for the kids and two sleeper sofas in the living area, this Gulfside retreat is perfect for family vacations. A large driveway offers ample parking for multiple vehicles, making arrivals and departures a breeze.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to whip up a quick beach snack or prepare a gourmet meal. ALL of the above. Brown water and rings in the toilet. Guy who responded next day came while two babies were napping and never came back. Induction stove sucked. Water pressure horrible - your staff kept saying it was local water. Not true. My husband and I live a few blocks away and our water is/was fine! Thankful for bottled water and bagged ice, and a tub at MY house without toxic water that children could bathe in. Listed amenities were not there - basketball, corn hole. AND did I mention an auto lock owners room that was left open in a kids room by manager? once shut, could not get their clothes out. IMAGINE if my 2 year old grandson had locked himself in there?!?! We waited hours for code. The door hinges were rusted and not removable. We would have used if that had happened. I requested 1/3 refund and they sent me 200. Y'all need to money up. I have five adult children (Birmingham, Atlanta and Dothan areas) about to write social media posts about rental and that Southern Vacation Company unless y'all do what is the correct thing to do. I have many friends with VRBOs and they would have offered a full refund immediately so their customers could get a safer place to stay. One star is too high. Need NEGATIVE stars. My two families with kids left a day early it was so bad.

Brown water in tub, I also have pics of rings in toilets and trash in yard.

House had undergone a partial renovation that was not quite finished when we arrived(stair nose was taped down to keep us from tripping and falling due to fresh glue). Dealt with several maintenance issues many of which were fixed(water leak in wall, water leak in disposal, no cold water downstairs after leak fix, tvs missing power cords and remotes) and some that were not(microwave and oven unit quit working, water under kitchen floor from water leak). Maintenance visited the house 6 of the 9 days during our stay. Really liked the location but the house needs at least a couple more weeks of reno to get it back to rental shape. Asked Southern Vacation Rentals for a partial refund and the most they will refund is roughly 18%. Easily the worst vacation experience I've had in Panama City Beach in the past 25 years.

Baseball and family

We stayed a full week for a baseball tournament and the fourth of July weekend. This house was perfect beach access was directly in front of the house, beach was never extremely overcrowded perfect for our family
