Hello and welcome! My name is Lou, and I was born in the beautiful Azores, Portugal. I moved to the U.S. when I was a toddler, but my heart has always stayed connected to this breathtaking island. Traveling is one of my greatest passions, and I’m fortunate to be able to explore different corners of the world with my wife by my side. However, I make it a point to return to the Azores at least twice a year because it’s where my roots are, and it always feels like home.

Being a host truly brings me joy. I’ve always loved meeting new people and making connections, so hosting feels like a natural extension of that. What I love most about hosting is the opportunity to share the warmth and beauty of the Azores with guests from all over. I believe that a vacation is more than just a getaway—it’s a chance to experience something new and make lasting memories.
