The Space:

Get ready to bask in the comfort of Desert Sunrise! Brand new and full of luxury touches, this home will ensure your southern Utah stay is magical.



Living Area - Inside, Desert Sunrise embraces modern desert aesthetics with sleek, thoughtful design. The open-concept living room is a bright, inviting space perfect for relaxing or gathering with friends and family and features a 65” smart TV for all your streaming needs. Large windows flood the room with natural light, offering stunning views of the redrock cliffs. With comfortable seating for everyone, the living area creates the perfect landing space after a long day of hiking, exploring, and visiting the national parks.



Kitchen - The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and everything you need to create memorable meals. Stocked with all the necessities including plates, bowls, cups, mugs, cutlery, silverware, and baking equipment, you can rest assured you have all you need to prepare any meal. The dining area offers seating for six in an inviting space to enjoy your meals together. It also doubles as the perfect game/puzzle table with a large turn-table center.



All three bedrooms feel like a primary suite, with each one offering a king bed and ensuite bathroom, giving privacy and comfort for all guests. Every room is thoughtfully appointed, with blackout blinds to ensure you get the best night’s sleep, no matter the time of day. The modern desert aesthetic blends sleek design with high-end touches, creating an atmosphere that’s both inviting and sophisticated. Each bathroom offers complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.



Bedroom 1 is located to the right when entering the home and offers it's own private ensuite bathroom.



Bedroom 2 is located across the living room from Bedroom 1, and features an ensuite bathroom that has 2 entrances, one from the bedroom and another from the living room.



Bedroom 3 is also located off the living room, closest to the floor to ceiling glass doors that lead to the patio. This room features a private ensuite bathroom.



In the laundry room you will find a brand new high-efficiency washer & dryer with laundry supplies included.



Step outside and unwind in your private, fenced backyard, where a large covered patio, cozy seating, toasty firepit, and a relaxing hot tub await. The large glass doors can open fully, essentially combining the back patio with the comfortable living room. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee as the sun rises or stargazing under the vast desert sky, the outdoor space is your perfect haven.

Don't forget to enjoy the fire pit and also the BBQ grill for some outdoor cooking and entertaining!



Our second home, Desert Skies is located just up the street in the same neighborhood if you are traveling with a larger group or another family.



From the moment you arrive, Desert Sunrise will be your peaceful home base for exploring the wonders of Kanab and the surrounding desert landscapes. Whether you're looking to relax in style or create lasting memories with loved ones, this home offers the ideal setting for your next getaway.



Guest Access:

An electronic keypad lock will open the front door. We'll send you a private lock code prior to your reservation. You'll also have full access to the 2-car garage for vehicles, ATV's, or bicycles. A video keypad will open the garage door. There are no other cameras on the property.



The Neighborhood:

Please be aware that this home is in a newly developed area and there may be some construction going on nearby.

Desert Sunrise is located in the Kanab Creek Ranchos, a very family friendly neighborhood nestled against the hills surrounding Kanab. It's a short drive to Ranchos Park, which has plenty of space to relax and play your favorite games in the large, open, grassy space or take advantabe of the baseball fields. The park also includes a walking trail - perfect for going on a stroll with your loved ones and pets!

There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, ball fields, pool with slides, splash pad, skate park with pump track, and tennis/pickle-ball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale.

Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours. Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops.

We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab. Equestrian and biking trails are also available.



Getting Around:

This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places. Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.

Cancellations Terms: Please be advised there is a 3% cancellation fee regardless of the cancellation date.



For the safety of our property and our guests, we have cameras around the perimeter of the property. Some of the cameras are monitoring the front/back door as well as the hot tub.
