The house was great and in a great location. The roof top pool and deck area made the trip!

Newport Bay

This property is in a fantastic location. You can’t beat the views. You can walk out your door to spend time on the bay, or walk two short blocks to the beach. There were several things that didn’t work/function at the house though which was disappointing (one dishwasher didn’t work, after a few days we couldn’t get the heat to turn on for the pool and hot tub). Overall we enjoyed our stay very much! Plenty of space for our three families.

Both dishwashers were working along with the pool heater. We have updated the house manual for our guests to more easily understand the home appliances & electronics.

Dishwashers need to be replaced. Rusted inside. The refrigerator doors don’t shut well and ice maker had what looks like black mold. Washing machine smelled musty. The seal was all black needed to be cleaned. Oven, dishes and floors were dirty.Sheets, comforter and towels were stained.The ceiling fan in our room needs to be replacedThe tub leaked to the downstairs unitBBQ’s were not cleanedToilet downstairs wasn’t anchored to the floor.

Location

The location is beautiful! You are steps from the Marina and super Close to the beach. It’s a clean house! If you have toddlers that don’t swim there is a pool with no gate. ( my youngest is 4) the manager was very helpful for checking in. Also a few issues came up and they got right on it. We will gladly stay here again.

First, this is not a house, it is a Condominium! The owner lives in the bottom unit. To get to the main floor of this unit you have to haul all of your luggage and groceries up three flights of stairs, and one more flight to get to the bedrooms. All of the bedding is old and dingy. The decor is at least 20 years old. This place needs a thorough cleaning…cupboards, cabinets, closets are full of junk…lots of junk. We left 5 days early. Rented it for 8 and only stayed 3 nights. No air conditioning. Had to sleep with windows open, no screens…got bit several times by who knows what? They made a fool out of me…don’t be the next victim…go to a nice hotel!

The home is not a condominium, it’s a triplex, a 1 bedroom & a 3 bedroom below the main house. Those units have a separate entry & separate parking and do not share any of the amenities in main house or on the roof. The owner does not live in one of the units, he stays there occasionally when in town. The decor is not 20 years old, the bedding was just purchased last season. Air conditioning is not needed because the home is on the water! The windows have screens just not the sliding doors. All the bedrooms have ceiling fans for additional cooling at night. Clearly in the pictures you can see that it is a three-story home. There is no mention in the description of an elevator, therefore I hope people would assume that there are stairs.

Amazing Newport Beach Location

Wonderful location with a view you can't match anywhere on the Newport / Balboa strip. Very convenient to beach and town center and all the activities the area has to offer. Perfect for a large group as the space allows for everyone to have privacy without leaving the group dynamic and the house can easily service as the hub of your trip

Beautiful Property

This was a wonderful rental home. Spacious, beautiful and the views are spectacular. The rooftop is beyond great. Within walking distance to great restaurants and shopping, Anyone staying here will love it. Highly recommend it!

The location and views are great. The owner lives in the house when it's not being rented, and it was dirty and in need of many repairs. We personally felt that we overpaid for the property.

Great holiday week in Newport

The home is in an amazing location with views of the harbor from two sides and 360 degree views from the roof deck. It's also only a couple of blocks from the restaurants/bars/shopping next to the pier, as well as the path along the sand that is excellent for long walks. We spent a lot of time on the roof with the pool, hot tub, as well as general seating areas, which was outstanding. Linda was easy to communicate with and helpful with any questions we had. While the house itself seems to have been renovated to very high standards more than ten years ago, it is showing its age as we had a few things that didn't work and some items showing some wear. Overall, happy with our stay.

Stunning property

My family enjoyed every minute at this fantastic house! Location is amazing and the house has everything you need for a fantastic vacation! The heated rooftop pool is the best! Hours of fun with the kids! Also has a large trampoline which was fantastic! The kitchen has everything needed for cooking and entertaining. Linda is a fantastic manager and was kind and helpful. It was truly a magnificent experience!

Perfect vacation home

What a great place! Had my family of 13 people stay in this spectacular property for a week. The location could not be better. The large kitchen/dining/family room area was perfect for congregating. The use of their Duffy was an added bonus. We took it out several nights for dinner...lots of good waterfront restaurants to choose from. The rooftop lounge area and pool was a favorite by all. We took advantage of the bikes and kayak as well. Loads of restaurants and shops all within a 2 minute walk. Linda, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with. She made everything VERY EASY. I highly recommend this rental.

Fabulous Thanksgiving Family Vacation

Our family of 16 rented this home for a week during Thanksgiving. What a treasure of a home!! Eight of our grandchildren (5 under the age of 4) came with their parents and spent the week swimming in the pool on the rooftop, playing on the beach and enjoying games and movies in the large media center. From sunrise to sunset, every room has a gorgeous view! The huge great room/kitchen has all the amenities to cook our 2 19# turkeys with all the trimmings while enjoying the family activities! Highlights of our week were watching the sunset while sitting in the hot tub and grilling dinner in the outdoor kitchen. Hikes on the ocean side beach to body surf, build sand castles & play Frisbee. Kayaking & paddle boarding off the harbor sand beach right next door. Duffy boat cruises to view the Christmas decorations on so many of the fabulous homes along the harbor shores. What fun we had going by Duffy to several of the super restaurants on the harbor. This is truly a treasured vacation spot with fabulous views of the harbor and ocean. Well worth the price!!! Would we do it again? You bet!!! Who ever rents this home next, take care of it, as we want to come back!!

Sunsets on the water!

The owners were extremely helpful and prompt in answering all queries and requests! The home was very clean fully equipped with anything you could need. The location was ideal with water views in every room. We walked the beach everyday and watched sunsets from our deck. The best part was listening to the ocean every night and waking up to ocean views from our bed.The worst was having to leave this perfect beach home! Surrounded by the best restaurants and shops there was not one dull moment!

Paradise away from home!

We stayed here for our last week of summer and it is a gorgeous house with an amazing outdoor entertaining space and the location is truly marvelous! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed to entertain our guests. Our group loved this house! It is much larger than it appears in the pictures. There isn't a bad view no matter where you are! The sunsets over the bay are spectacular. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily book again in a heart beat!
