The house was cute and very spacious. We are a family of 6 and it never felt crowded. The fireplace doesn't work which was upsetting because that was one of the main reasons we chose this house over others. It is clean- ish but could use a deep clean. The kitchen appliances sound like they are about to explode and there are very few bowls and utensils. The washer has a mildewy smell. The TV only gets local channels- no cable or streaming services. All the shower heads spray crazy- probably need a good cleaning. Other than that it was fine and the host was nice

Quickly became home!!

We stayed here for almost 6 weeks. It was the perfect transition home for us as we moved from Alaska to Houston. The owner was super responsive and kind. The kids loved the ping pong, and foosball. Located near a park and also pickleball courts was a plus too. We couldn't be more appreciative of our time here. Would stay again if we were visiting.

Cozy home, plenty of space, games, were enjoyable. Bring extra sheets and linen though, or owner can provide. PEST control advice to owner, as there qere roaches by the entrance door.

Although the house was an older home it had the all the necessities required for a great stay. The game room provided entertainment. The owner did a super job of supplying amenities and trying to fix the TV situation. Would highly recommend the property and am hoping it will be available next time I need housing in Houston.

House is roomy

No face towels and master bed had no fitted sheets. They had a flat sheet only. Backyard was a mess so we couldn’t sit on the patio. No internet service I wouldn’t stay there again.

The property was rented over a 11 night period by me as 1 booking and by my friends as one booking. When they first arrivrd on thursday june first the property had not been cleaned, however they contacted the host that night and it was cleaned well on friday 1 day after they checked in. Other than that all was fairly well represented and we would rent again.

Should know before renting the house

As we walked in we realized the house had a weird smell, we noticed the ac was off and house was very hot. That might have been the reason for smell. One of the room might have bed bugs. The house was not cleaned before we got there as we could see webs in the house. The location was nice. If manager takes care of the property better it is not bad place.

Not to honest

Days after check out and after another party stayed I was reached out to pay for a broken stool that no one ever saw and a broken blind at back door that was already broken(175). A lot of things in this home isn’t up to par old run down or broken. Night 1 a bed fell to the floor at first sit. I’m handy so I fixed it We were told not to play loud music which we don’t the neighbors to the left had a party in the garage with loud music on Friday night. Recommendations update and fix some of the issues in the house dart board darts are all in half. Overall cleaning could be better. There’s a list but I prefer not to be petty however I do have a video of the house on the first day.

Do not book this house!!

We got there and half of the house was broken. Toilet paper dispensers where broken and some chairs where broken. Doors need to be locked by some chain locks rather than actual locks. We were cooking something and the top part of the air vent fell on us becuase it was held on with tape. Horrible experience avoid this house at all cost. Even after notifying the house owner and messaging him of everything that was broken and he still had the odacity to charge me. Called VRBO to get this fixed and the situation is still pending.

Decent house, needs more cleaning, better instructions on how stuff works would be nice

Good neighborhood. Pics are a bit deceiving. Nothing major, just things to note if it might be an issue. There is actually room to sleep 11 here. Everyone had plenty of space, so that was nice. We did request an early check-in, since we assumed that due to us checking in on a Tuesday, they wouldn't have had anyone there that Monday, and that was basically ignored. The beds need to be cleaned under. Not all TV remotes worked. English TV channels were minimal and no ability to run apps. The light switches made no sense. Most of the lights work, but finding all the switches, since we could only get in after dark, was not fun. There is zero sound barrier between the game room and the rest of the house. The kids loved the game room, but you could hear everything throughout the entire house. I appreciated 3 bathrooms with our large crew, but the master bathroom has issues. That was the most uncomfortable toilet seat I have ever sat on & the shower stall door is small. I could fit, but barely because the towel rack that was installed does not allow it to be opened more than a foot wide. This makes me nervous for how clean could it actually be. The previous person's shampoo and loofah sponge were still in there. The stove and dishwasher work well, however, a light switch has to be turned on for the dishwasher to get power. There are plenty of pots and pans, but zero baking sheets or pyrex to bake on. (We like doing simple meals in a VRBO like chicken nuggets and mac and cheese.)

Great space, sparse kitchen, mechanical problems that needed repairs while we were there

The many bedrooms, full bathrooms, & game room were what my family needed for Thanksgiving gathering. Nice new fridge & smooth topped stove. And clearly freshly cleaned. The kitchen had plenty of plates, cups & glasses for eating with, but was not well equipped for prepping food. No baking pans, cookie sheets, or muffin tins. The ancient soup pot was not flat, so food heated slowly & unevenly on the smooth topped stove. The box in pantry with side pictures of new pots & pans was just an empty teaser. Ditto for the box for a rapid cooker. The motor for the HVAC malfunctioned while we were there, but the fireplace space heater in the living room got us through our one cold night. The owner did get a very nice repair person in a matter of hours, but with the holiday, it took 2 days to get parts, and having to be on site to meet repair person put a speed bump on some of our plans for outings. One toilet ran constantly, interfering with the low water high-pressure system, causing the toilet to make a loud tone when it went I flushed for 5 to 6 hours, such as every night, in the middle of the night, waking us. Sound stops upon flushing, & Owner tells me they will repair. The owner did gave us a small (< 10%) refund due to the many mechanical difficulties we had to deal with. In spite of the difficulties, the large space for relatively low price to start with, plus game room & ease of access to this property in a safe neighborhood for walking Around made our time there worth it. It would help if the owners would provide a paper copy of the home manual - operating the dishwasher vs garbage disposal was no intuitive. The provided manual digitally, but a paper copy in the kitchen would really have been handy.
