Step outside, and you’re greeted by beautiful views of the water, perfect for launching a kayak, casting a fishing line, or simply soaking in the stunning Lake Gaston views. The zero-entry shoreline makes wading and swimming a breeze, offering safe and easy access for all ages.
Adventure awaits with complimentary kayaks & paddleboard, yard games like Kan-Jam, cornhole, foosball and ping-pong. The Timber Creek community pool is just next door—so you’ll never run out of ways to stay entertained.

When it’s time to refuel, the well-stocked kitchen makes mealtime effortless, and the lakeside deck with a grill is perfect for sizzling up a feast while enjoying the peaceful water views.  As the sun dips below the horizon, gather around the fire pit to swap stories and roast marshmallows under the starry sky.

Pet Friendly:  We know what it's like to have dogs that are part of the family, so we welcome well-behaved, fully housebroken dogs (limit 2). All dogs will need to be registered on the Lake Gaston Vacation Rentals site, and they must be supervised at all times or in a crate if home alone. Please respect our home by keeping the dogs off of the furniture, inside and outside.  It is the pet owner's responsibility to clean up any pet waste. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $250.  No cats please. 

Dock Information: When facing the lake, please note that the boathouse to the left belongs to the neighbors and is not available for guest use. Guests of Tide & Timber are welcome to use the T-dock on the right for fishing (with a valid NC license). However, this dock may not be used to secure watercraft, as the slips are privately deeded. Guests are able to use two visitor slips (day slips) on the main T-Pier on a first come first serve basis for up to 48 hours at a time. Renters bringing their own boats (or personal watercraft) will need to use a key to gain access to the boat ramp to launch and remove their motorboats. Please follow all posted signage with regards to registering your boat.

To get you started...
Bathrooms: Bathrooms are stocked with courtesy hair dryers, travel-size soaps and shampoos designed for quick "off the shelf" use.   Each bathroom has a roll of septic-friendly toilet tissue as a starter. You are encouraged to bring whatever you feel you might need beyond the courtesy items provided.
Kitchen Items:  Kitchen is stocked with 1 roll of paper towels, a couple trash bags for the kitchen trashcan, travel-size dish soap, a couple dishwasher pods. We do not provide condiments. You are encouraged to bring whatever you feel you might need beyond the courtesy items provided.
Linens Provided:  Linens & towels are charged as a separate fee and will be available at the home, safety-sealed, at the foot of each bed. Each guest is provided bath towel and a washcloth as part of the linen package. Guests will find their bath towels folded on each bed. NOTE: We do not provide beach towels or dock towels!

Septic System:  The house, like 99% of all lake homes on Lake Gaston, uses a septic system.  This system is a finely balanced biological system.  Please help us keep it working flawlessly by flushing ONLY toilet paper.  Renters are responsible for any damage caused by misuse.
Navigating the Lake: Bow-Riders and deep draft Wake Board boats need to check their Hummingbirds to ensure adequate depth in all coves.  Be sure to lower your bimini top when going under bridges or through culverts.  Appearances can be deceiving!
Security Camera Disclosure:  We take your privacy very seriously.  However, this home is monitored by exterior security cameras.  The cameras do not record sound.
