Perfect! Waterfront Cottage-2 story boathouse w/ Bar - off main lake!

Beautifully updated ranch home with open floor plan on a scenic fairly flat lot. The home is perfect for entertaining with a large room in the front of the house which includes the kitchen, bar, dining room and living room.
This home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathroom. Huge lot with plenty of outdoor space including screened porch. On the water is a large custom built two story boat house equipped with a kitchen bar, and lots of seating.
The view is spectacular!

When you're ready to play in the Lake, you can float right off the boathouse! Bring your boat or rent one nearby for a funfilled trip.

Directly on this cove you will find Outdoor World. This marina is a great place to gas up the boat, grab some ice cream, and play putt-putt. There are several places on the lake to stop along the way including the two closest restaurants, WatersView and The Pointe.

There are many local spots to check out around the lake if you are out and about! Not only will you find two grocery stores just 10 minutes away, The lake is loaded with some local favorites including Lake Gaston Pizza, Wakeboard Willies, Jenny Cakes on the Lake, Shady Shack and so much more!

Just 6 minutes away is Downtown Littleton. Local spots like Blue Jay Bistro, Daphnes Coffee Shop and Main Street Wines, this charming town is a must see. Several local shops and even the Big Foot Museum too!
Coming soon is Timber Waters Brewery opening in 2024.

This is an AMAZING place! It is sooo peaceful and beautiful! We had a girls weekend with three generations and everything was perfect! The house is so clean, cutely decorated and has everything you would need. It’s obvious that the owners have put a lot of thought and care into their beautiful home! The outdoor spaces are incredible. Had coffee and bfast at the table at the boat house one morning and on the big screened porch the second day. I can’t say enough about this little “slice of heaven”. I can’t wait to return!

Peaceful Perfection with a Personal Touch From the moment that we arrived we knew we found something special. Kristen, our incredibly kind in response of host, went above and beyond graciously accommodating a last minute changed to our reservation and showing complete understanding when we accidentally overstate are welcome thank (you again Kristen!) The home was spotless and beautifully updated with everything we needed for relaxing getaway. The real highlight though was the boathouse and its rooftop deck perfect for sunbathing, reading or just soaking up the peaceful surroundings. Be sure to take the kayak out around the quiet cove or cast the line in for some fishing. With no boat or just jet ski traffic it’s a serene escape you won’t want to leave.

Visit to Lake Gaston

Great location for our first trip to Lake Gaston. The cottage was as advertised-which is always a plus. Clean and very well maintained inside and out. The WIFI was great. No cable but we had our own streaming services so there was no issue with the TV's. The cottage was well stocked with the essentials. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful family vacation!

This is a beautiful, well maintained property in an inviting neighborhood. The house was clean and fresh with plenty of space for our family of 4. We enjoyed napping and playing cards/Jenga on the screen porch. The boathouse is a great size, especially with the upper deck. Mom read upstairs while our kids fished off the dock. It was nice to be close by but not cramped. We all got out on the water in the kayaks and canoe provided. The house sits on a quiet cove which made for peaceful exploring. A note about accessibility: the yard has a large grass lawn with slight downhill slope to the water. This ground was very soft - not a problem for our crew, but others should consider. This house is a short drive to downtown Littleton, which is very quaint. We visited the hardware store for bait, Piggly Wiggly for groceries, and Sunset Slush and the coffee shop for a pick-me-up. We'd love to return!

Breathtaking Views of the Waterfront.

Another extended Birthday weekend with breathtaking views of the lake was spent with our longtime friends. The home is tastefully decorated (and updated) and the dock is great for anyone who enjoys fishing or just relaxing by the water. The screened in porch is where we enjoyed spending most of our time, even though the weather was a little chilly. The gas fire pit kept us toasty warm. A home away from home in a quiet neighborhood. I think it just may be our favorite VRBO lake house rental to-date.

As Advertised and Better!

Owner communication was quick and always positive. Property clean and kitchen well equipped. Spent a lot of time on the boathouse and was able to take in multiple fireworks shows!! Yard was huge and house placement at end of Cove was perfect for paddle boarding and fishing with minimal boat traffic but still deep enough to dock the boat. All in all a great experience and will likely return!

First Time to Lake Gaston

Perfect getaway weekend. Easy drive from Richmond, VA. Clean and inviting home with a perfect screened in porch with propane fireplace to sit by even in colder weather. Well stocked kitchen. Close proximity to Medoc Mountain State Park for some hiking during the day and of course kayaking on the lake. A gorgeous waterfront boat house to enjoy in warmer weather. Would highly recommend.

Everything was awesome and easy! Communication with the property owner was great! She responded back within minutes. The house was super clean beds were comfortable! Everything we needed to cook with was there! Back porch has plenty of room! Dock was perfect! Back yard was huge and flat! Perfect for cornhole! I will definitely book this property again!

Great place to stay!

Great location in a quiet neighborhood, The house is set up to make your stay as trouble free as possible. Boathouse is very nice and even equipped with lighting controlled via Bluetooth. the water is only 2.5' around the boathouse but it was not a problem for us. If you don't bring a boat swimming may be difficult.

Awesome property & host

We have been staying a week at Lake Gaston for 10 years and stay in different VRBO’s all around the lake and this property one of our favorites! It was actually described in the listing, clean, well equipped & comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodation. Kristen was responsive to all our inquiries and accommodating. Highly recommended property. Can’t wait till next year!

We have been vacationing at Lake Gaston for 15 years. This was 1 of the best houses and docks. The water is shallow, but great for floating. The house was well stocked and very clean.

Summer lake trip

We had an amazing time! We wish we could have stayed longer. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We spent every evening enjoying the large screened porch and the boathouse was great for our boat and hanging out. It is shallow and bottom is a little mossy so water shoes are nice to have. Great fun stay!
