We had a great stay and Emily was a wonderful host! She checked in on us and the house was very comfortable and clean. We liked the proximity to the various places we wanted to go, and was an easy drive to the OC beaches. The neighborhood was safe, very quiet at night, we slept well. The house is very close to lots of shops and places to eat. We also really liked relaxing in the backyard.

We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at this beautiful home. We especially appreciated the lovely patio, fire pit area in the spacious back yard. The location was excellent for our needs and close to many restaurants and beaches. We also greatly appreciated the cleanliness of this home. My friends and I loved this place. Super clean in a nice quiet neighborhood. The host Emily is really responsive and made sure our stay is great. The decor in the house is simple but elegant and utensils in the kitchen are great to make dinner. Definitely will stay here again if in the area.

Family Trip

This home was perfect for a trip with our adult children! We love the vibe of the decor, it was very clean, and the kitchen seemed to have just what we needed to make a few meals at home. We were here for beach activities and a quick drive got us there. When we weren’t out exploring and needed some recovery, we had amazing and unexpected quality time in the backyard. The weather was perfect so we ate dinner outside with a fire and games that kept the family bonding high. The hosts were quick to respond to one question that came up, but they really have put in an effort to make it perfect for their guests. We highly recommend a stay here!

Retro Wave is more than just a rental; it’s our first home project, designed with love and attention to every detail. We carefully selected each piece of furniture and every amenity—blackout curtains for restful sleep, a fully stocked kitchen with a rice cooker and air fryer, and even little touches like hair dryers—because we wanted this space to feel like a true home.

We designed it as if we were staying here ourselves or welcoming our closest family and friends. Our hope is that every guest feels comfortable, relaxed, and inspired to create lasting memories in this space we’ve poured our hearts into.
