We walked in the door and were taken away by the amazing view! The hosts went above and beyond, supplying k cups, tea, creamers, and sweeteners, as well as a welcome basket.

The view from the balcony was amazing! All the pics are very accurate in the description. We are a couple in our 70's and the elevator and baggage cart made it so very easy. The location was fantastic on the beach, but even better was the traffic light that made getting in and out of the parking lot a breeze! It couldn't have been easier for us.

Weekend Getaway

Location and views were perfect - overlooking the East Arm of Grand Traverse Bay with beach access. Only a short drive from downtown Traverse City and Mission Peninsula. The property was clean and comfortable. Everything seemed very new and updated. Well-appointed with everything needed for our weekend getaway. Communication and check in processes were excellent! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay at this property again in the future!

We loved our stay here! The condo was decorated so cute for the fall. I loved seeing a sanitized sticker with the date on the tub faucet. There were so many things we didn’t expect but really appreciated including a water purifier in fridge, snack basket, variety of coffee, K-cups, lavender bath salts and even an extra toothbrush/mouthwash. The views were beautiful and communication with the owner was excellent. The only thing that we would have liked would be a plush mattress and variety of bed pillows. The pillows were flatter than the memory foam pillows we have at home. We’d love to come back in the summer and be able to spend time on the beach.

Our stay at Hemingway was wonderful. It’s an impeccably clean attractive and updated condo on the beach in a quiet building. The king bed and sheets were comfortable. The building and area around are well maintained. We enjoyed coffee and our light breakfast while sitting at a high top bistro table looking out at the water watching the mist dissolve as the sun rose. Would recommend this place highly.

We love hosting visitors to the Traverse City area. This is an amazing region to explore and we hope you think so too.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

The Beach condos are in a perfect Traverse City location. You will be located a short 5 miles from the heart of downtown. While town is very accessible, you can have your private space away from the busyness. We are located across the street from the TART trail, a well maintained multiuse path you can walk to bike to town if you choose not to drive. We also are one of the few locations with a traffic light at the entrance, allowing for safe access to the building.

East Bay is a beautiful body of water connected to Lake Michigan. The sandy beach and clear water is perfect for enjoying the lakeshore. There are a multitude of activities and amenities nearby including: boat and jet ski rental, parasailing, putt putt golf, coffee shop, and ziplining. These are only the amenities less than 1 mile away.

In the wintertime, we are located from the local favorite Mt. Holiday. Being located on US 31, you are right on track to access larger renowned resorts too: Boyne Mountain, Nubs Nob, Crystal Mountain and Shanty Creek. There are numerous cross country ski and snow shoeing trails as well. Finish your day with a warm soak in our jetted tub. This is truly a year-round place to stay.

We’ve enjoyed adding all of our personal touches to Hemingway East and we hope your experience is unique! By staying with us you are helping us build a future for our family and our retirement. Our plan is to retire in Key West which was home to Ernest Hemingway. This is how we came up with the name for our property and why you will discover Key West and Ernest Hemingway decor at our property. We hope you love this place as much as we do!!
