Nestled in Southwest Harbor, this delightful apartment, âSeawall,â offers partial views of the Harbor and is easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and cafes. Partially renovated in 2025, the unit is on the second level of a five-level condo building. The space offers 2 cozy bedrooms with queen beds and a futon couch/bed in the living area for additional guests.
Southwest Harbor is known as the âquiet sideâ of Mount Desert Island. There are numerous hikes, walks, and attractions in nearby Acadia National Park, including the Seawall, Bass Harbor Lighthouse, Echo Lake Beach, and hiking trails. The Island Explorer Bus (free) stops at the center of town, providing access to all the villages of Mount Desert Island. There are several restaurants nearby that serve lobster!

7-minute drive to the Seawall
8-minute drive to Bass Harbor Lighthouse

This unit is located on the second floor, with a streetside ground-level entrance at the front of the building and a rear entrance with outside stair access. The street-side entrance opens to a hallway with interior entrances to two units- âSeawallâ and âManset.â

*Parking:
Free shared parking for the building is available in the back parking lot, although there are no designated spaces.
*Television:
ROKU Smart TV- You can log in to your apps and services. No cable.
Free WiFi provided.
*Air Conditioning & Fans:
Each bedroom is equipped with a portable air conditioning unit. There are ceiling fans in the main living area and each bedroom, as well as a portable fan in each bedroom.

We will send instructions on accessing the apartment after the reservation is made. You are welcome to contact us during your stay if you have any needs or concerns.
Please Note: This is an older building located on busy Main Street. There is regular traffic and traffic noise, and limited insulation between floors may allow noise from neighbors. If there is excessive noise from neighbors, guests can contact me to help resolve the issue.
Please respect the buildingâs quiet hours, which are in effect between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Please refrain from running the washer or dryer during that time to minimize noise disturbance to other units.
Check Out:
Please check out of the unit by 11:00.
We require enough time to clean the unit properly before the next guestsâ arrival. You will be charged a $100 fee if you are out of the unit after 11:15, and an additional $50 for every 15-minute interval you are late thereafter.
No Pets are allowed.
If you are found to have a pet, you will be charged an additional $400 Pet Fee.
No Parties or Events are allowed. In the case of a party or event, we will terminate your stay without reimbursement, and you will be charged an additional $1000 fee.

This property has a great location! It is a 2-minute walk to numerous restaurants and cafés, the library, pharmacy, post office, playground, gift shops, and the harbor. It offers great access to Acadia National Park on the west side of Mount Desert Island.
