Deux chambres au premier étage à la fin d'un cul-de-sac tranquille à Dowtown

Construit en 2004 et bien entretenu, cette propriété est en parfait état. Situé à côté de Bridge Street sur une voie privée, la maison est à trois minutes à pied du port, des boutiques et des restaurants. À deux minutes à pied de Frenchmen's Bay et à marée basse, vous pourrez traverser le banc de sable (d'où le nom de Bar Harbor) jusqu'à Bar Island (qui fait partie de l'Acadia). Deux places de stationnement vous permettent de laisser la voiture derrière lorsque vous explorez et profitez de Bar Harbor. Manger à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur comme la maison dispose d'un patio avec des meubles et un grill extérieur. Seulement 1. 5 miles de Acadia National Park et les chemins de voitures sans voitures (idéal pour le vélo ou la marche).

If location is what you’re after this is the house! Tucked off the busy roads the area is quiet. A very short walk to the downtown - Oli’s Trolley for the sunrise at Cadillac Mountain is right there! So convenient!! An issue from the recent storm with the water heater but the owner responded immediately and rectified the issue.

Location matters in Bar Harbor and this was great. Walking distance to pretty much everything! We had an issue with hot water one morning and the owner once contacted got everything fixed right away!!! Kudos to the owner. Excellent experience!

This was the perfect spot for my family of four to enjoy 4 days in Bar Harbor and Acadia. Easy drive to the national park. Walkable distance to all spots in town. Added bonus: parking spot with the rental. Would definitely recommend this spot.

Location location location. This unit is exactly as advertised and so convenient to everything in Bar Harbor. There is on-site parking and you can walk to all the shops and stores. The bathroom is quite large and the laundry is located in there. A spacious bathroom sink and counter is a welcome change from pedestal sinks. The host had everything ready to go for us withe no issues. If there is any note I need to make it comes from my husband in particular. The beds sit very low to the floor and as he is 6'4" getting up was hard on him. I am 5'4" and I noticed it. They are also a bit hard. I have stayed in state park cabins and I would compare them to those. All that being said we had a great experience and I recommend staying at Chris's unit.

My family and I had a great time staying here. We had one little mishap with the heat not turning on, but we were able to get it fixed quickly thanks to help from the owner. My sister is a pianist, so she greatly enjoyed playing the piano in the living room. The location is fantastic, we were within walking distance of everything in Bar Harbor.

The positive: The location of this property is the highlight. It is within walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor, where parking is 6/ hour. The parking at this property is very good. There appears to be several units that share a driveway, and there is plenty of room to park at each unit, The driveway is well maintained. The kitchen and livingroom have most everything you would need. The table cloth was very wrinkly, but I can live with that. The price was reasonable for Bar Harbor. There is a washer and dryer in the bathroom that was well stocked with detergent and fabric softener.The negative: We never received any communication from the actual host; not after booking, at check in, or check out. I called and left a voicemail; I texted the numbers I was provided, and never received a response in return. Which created stress. Thankfully it worked out and we did figure out which unit to enter and we did not end up homeless in Bar Harbor.The top of the beds are about 14 -20 inches off the ground; maybe normal somewhere in the world, but not in the U.S.. When stripping the beds for checkout, the condition of what we found under the bedding was less than appealing. My wife wore white socks in the VRBO and noticed the bottoms of her socks were stained dark after only a couple hours. When reading the vrbo journal, others had similiar experiences; and most also praised the location.

Tom was very communicative and the house was just as described. The VRBO was very centrally located and we loved walking to local restaurants and the land bridge for sunsets and sunrises! We would recommend this spot for a stress free Bar Harbor getaway.
