The perfect beach cottage!

We loved our 2 week stay at the Nora Dora! It’s a perfect little beach cottage on a dead end, quiet, family friendly street. It was wonderful to relax in the beautiful private backyard after a long day at the beach and read a good book while listening to the music off in the distance from the seashell. This was year 49 at Hampton Beach with my family and our 10th year at the Nora Dora. The worst part was having to leave for another whole year! Can’t wait for summer 2026

Piece of heaven

Cute little house with a backyard on a quiet dead end. Honestly great little spot to just kick back and enjoy the beach. My kids loved it and so did I definitely will be back. Property manager was quick to respond when I had trouble with grill. It didn’t get resolved before we left but that’s okay still a great trip!!!

The Perfect Beach Cottage

The Nora Dora was everything we imagined for a summer beach cottage and then some! It is cozy, clean and comfortable! The front porch offers a great sitting area where you can enjoy the summer breeze without the bugs. The cottage is inviting with a welcoming beach theme. The couches and beds are all comfortable, and there are plenty of bedding and towels available. We had enough room for everyone (one of the nights my mom was there with 6 teenagers!) The outdoor shower is a beach vacation necessity! The backyard has plenty of seating and a grill. You can even see fireworks and hear the concerts from the boardwalk. The location was perfect! Close enough to walk to the beach and boardwalk area but still distant enough to feel like you're not in the middle of everything. We met a few neighbors while we were there and they were all very friendly. Overall, I highly recommend the Nora Dora! We will be back!

Nora Dora-June 2025 stay

House location was easy walking distance to the beach. On the downside, there were no blinds on any windows-zero privacy. Rigged pillow shams for the bathroom window to be able to use the bathroom and shower comfortably. The tub has possible mold on the fixtures and tub overall appearance not great. Window AC units were not installed for our June stay. Went home a day early due to temperatures hitting 94. Kitchen countertops needed to be wiped down. Home is cute but excessive number of pillows on all the couches. No where to sit without moving them.

Hi Grace. Thanks for sharing your feedback. We are really glad you liked the easy walk to the beach but sorry to hear about the things that made the stay less comfortable. We totally get the concern about the windows and privacy and we will make sure that gets looked at. The bathroom setup and the condition of the tub are not what we want for our guests so we appreciate you pointing that out. The missing AC units during a hot June week sounds frustrating and we are sorry it cut your trip short. Also, appreciate the heads-up on the kitchen counters and the pillow overload on the couches. We will definitely take all of this into account and work on improvements. We would appreciate your understanding and look forward to having you again in the future.
