Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was decent. Neighbors are really close. Back porch chill area is so close to others. No privacy at all. People cutting through back yards to get to their unit. Property management started cutting grass in our back yard before 8am.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to Sandpiper on and off since 2014 and this by far was our favorite time. We stayed in unit 9113 and it was perfect! We loved the comfortability, decor and everything about it. We will definitely book again in the future. It was my grandson's first trip to Destin and the memories we made will be something I will remember always. We enjoyed the beach, the pools, we went to the Gulfarium,the Harborwalk, ate at the Shrimp basket and many other local restaurants. Sandpiper will always hold a special place in my heart and I look forward to coming back.

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at sandpiper cove multiple times and have really enjoyed it but this time our visit was not so great. The unit that we stayed at had construction going on in the patio so we never got to use it. No one let us know beforehand or we would have not rented this unit. The patio is one of the most important parts of our rental option. It’s where we have most of our family time when we are not at the beach. We contacted property management and they said they couldn’t move us to another location. I emailed them and they responded four days later. The last two days of our rental the workers got there at 8 AM and made a lot of noise. I understand some stuff just has to be done but please don’t rent out a condo that is undergoing construction. The location of the unit was great and the unit was clean. The inside of the unit looked very nice and up-to-date. There were some pet hairs on the sofa when it is supposed to be a no pet unit. The beach and the pool were amazing! I would still recommend Sandpiper Cove but I think management should alert travelers about and changes to their unit.

Shared condo with a rat.

There was a rat in the condo . He got into food on the counter and my fishing tackle bag. I emailed pictures to the property manager and she apologized that it happened and would not answer the phone or email after that. It would have been nice if they had at least offered to pay for the damage. We actually even got the rat on video . He was a big one.

Fix smell and after hours AC policy

We had problem with a horrible smell 1st day at Condo. They told us we could change to another unit. both options were upstairs and 70's décor. Very old and not what we paid for. We opted to stay with a credit. They sent out pest/wildlife people the next day. They found nothing dead. Smell had eased up by then. Two nights later AC went out. It was 98 degrees in the unit. We understand things like that happens...They sent a very nice security guard an hour and half after our 1st call. It took 2 hours at midnight to get someone to tell us our option was to stay in the 70's style unit. Plus smell returned. AC was fixed the next day however we were told we would get a refund of a certain amount and they lied. refund was $60.00 short!

The staff was helpful and very professional.Grounds were well kept, plenty of things to do. nice over all. Would stay again. Location was good but if I had anything negitive to say it would be the condo view was of a high white fence gulf side. Still nice area just a personal prefrence. the on site resturant was excellent used it a few times for drinks and food Was close to everything food stores shopping and activites.
