Apartment itself seemed nice but the building/area is sketchy and very delayed communication

The instructions to find the property did not really adequately describe how you would need to locate the hidden doorway to the building (do not try any of the street doors, there is an entrance in the alley), and somehow find the rickety elevator while wandering through other apartment's courtyards(?). While we were unloading, there were people screaming at each other and throwing bottles across the street, dog poop smeared on the elevator floor, as well as several people hanging out in the alley where we were unloading and watching every move we made. It made us highly uncomfortable, and considering that we also had dogs with us who would need to be walked at night, we had to find somewhere else to stay as we felt unsafe. Since then, the property manager has NEVER responded to any messages, and even the initial question I sent to them when I booked was only answered after 2 months. The apartment itself seemed pretty nice once we got into it, but we barely spent any time in it as we basically loaded back up and went to a hotel.

Good location in Lorain. The building itself is a neat old building. There is no carpet in the room, which is awesome...all tile.. Some may consider the room dated, but at this prices point, you will get zero complaints from me. Overall, there was plenty to keep us busy for the weekend, some really good restaurants and we got to bring the dog, too.

Very clean apt w/a great view

Our stay in the apt was great it was very clean, comfy, and decorative. No complaints about the property just wish there was more to do around it.

The apartment was clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable and linens were nice and clean. The host was easy to work with and helped with our questions. Overall we enjoyed it and will stay at one of these hosts location in the future! We did have terrible wifi so I’m not sure if something can be done with that but be prepared for it. It didn’t really hurt our stay that much as the TVs still worked just fine. Overall it was great and a unique place to stay

Our family enjoys all the events in downtown Lorain. We love going down to the water every 4th of July to see the firework display. We enjoy the parades and festivals.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Our apartments are right in the heart of historic downtown Lorain. The architecture of these old buildings is amazing. We are right across the street from the Palace theater. Lorain has the beautiful Black River waterfront that hosts rocking on the river. Lorain also has a family Labor Day and a winter festival. Lorain has so much to offer.
