We had a really good time. The home was exactly as in the pictures. Very clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Rose has been a very gracious host and we will be booking this place the next time we are in Seattle.

We really liked the location of the house. The house was spacious and also looked great. While the home was clean, we felt that there were a few areas that could have been cleaner. Also it was common to hear noise coming from upstairs. Altogether, we really enjoyed our stay and the host was great. We would stay again and would recommend it.

Great location, 9 mins away from the newest light rail station and 3 mins away from restaurants and shopping. Clean and great layout for couples traveling together. Note that beds were very firm (which I prefer but not great for everyone). Great cookware & kitchen space provided, but some of the spices expired. The check-in/out process was a breeze and although unit is on bottom floor, pretty private. Note that walkway down to door is moderately steep, may be difficult for folks with mobility issues. The only real issues we had were numerous spiders (probably due to climate in area) and barking dog upstairs (we are dog people but can keep you up at night).

The place itself was decent. It was not cleaned prior to us arriving and I sent pictures to the owner who offered to have the cleaner come in but I had already cleaned. So they did refund us a little bit. The one thing I did not care for and I may have missed this in the post but they control the heat. There were fans but no heaters to use. It got fairly cold and we just bundled up under blankets. They do mention in their welcome book to reach out if you want the settings changed. I just don’t want to have to do that personally. The kitchen only had 1 small frying pan so we had to go buy a couple pans to cook, otherwise the kitchen was fairly well stocked. Shower in the master bedroom was amazing.

Great time with little flaws

We would love to rate 5 since the host is extremely friendly, the house is clean and has literally everything for the guests to stay in comfortably.However, since this property is remodeled from a basement, the host’s family is living right upstairs so if your group of friends want to enjoy full privacy, this might not be a good fit (especially if you wanna listen to loud music, etc). There is also a strange smell when we walk in, maybe that’s the food, but it is quite a turn off. Overall, it’s a great stay other than some little issues. I still recommend if you do not have any problem with them!

Like new house. Quiet neighborhood. Shopping mall with walking distance. Target, Fred Myer stores 1 mile drive. 15 minutes' drive to Edmonds beach and Meadowdale park. Close to I 5 and I 405 freeways. 10 minutes' drive to Light rail which takes to Downtown Seattle and to the Seatac Airport. 2 hours' drive to Vancouver, Canada.
