It was my first time in the area and Iâm so grateful to have such a great place to land. It was a cozy basement space away from the craziness of the city but within walking distance of anything I could need. Laundry was available for a fee which was perfect and appreciated.
Very convenient to Blvd East buses to Manhattan, and nearby park. The kitchen lacks a stove/oven, with only a microwave. Microwave safe cooking container and bowl with lids would be a great addition. The provided pots would work only in a regular range. Apart from that, this is a very nice place, with a good shower and bathtub especially.
Basement unit, Smelled mildewy, holes in bathroom. One of the beds was on cinderblocks. Area was nice with good transit options to the city. Host offered some weird form of review trading, so i couldn't trust other reviews. I don't particularly care as i will not be using this app in the future. Wouldve been a fine rebtal for me and some friends when i was in my early 20's, but the place was not great for "romantic getaways" as the listing would imply
I was a little surprised to see we were in a basement apartment but it was clean and easily accessible once you found a place to park. Parking was a nightmare however the view of New York from their park across the street made it worth the hunt. If you have a bad back, the bed wonât do you any favors but the host were prompt to respond to my noise complaint and to keep us informed.
