Cuisine moderne entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e, rĂ©frigĂ©rateur avec machine Ă  glaçons, lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, laveuse et sĂ©cheuse. The property was as advertised. Large and spacious, well appointed and comfortable.Four couples stayed in the house for a long weekend of golf and a trip to Martinsville for a NASCAR race.Amy was fantastic to deal with. Quick to reply to questions and made our weekend.We will definitely consider staying here again, possible in the Spring or Summer to get the full experience. Fall colors were great!!

Loved being so close to the New River! There was no Wi-Fi but we had good cell service. We use Verizon . We worked with Amy to plan this vacation
 Etc.. She was terrific! My family wants to go back sometime in the summer. Thank you, Amy!

Great stay!

Beautiful, spacious and wonderful stay on the New River. They had everything we needed for the 8 adults at our reunion. Loved the porches, deck overlooking the river, lots of towels, and everything we needed in the kitchen to prepare our meals. Highly recommend!

This VRBO is beautiful! Right on the New River with great views. The house is very spacious and has plenty of room for large groups. Would highly recommend to everyone!

Very happy repeat customer!

This was the 4th time staying at New River Lodge! We appreciate how well maintained the property is and especially the new fluffy towels! Amy is always helpful and very responsive. We will definitely be back!

Friends weekend

The location and property is wonderful. Overall a nice place with lots of room for everyone. I would suggest that instructions for tv be clearer,light switches were confusing. An easy access to the river would be great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend for family or group stays.

Family Reunion

Families had their own bedroom n bathroom. Kids had their own space and the New River was beautiful to watch and kids n adults enjoyed floating the river. Quiet and relaxing!! Couldn’t had picked a better Estate!!

A Beautiful Place

This is the 3rd year trip for our BFF getaway. We love the home, the river, the views, fishing, kayaking, thrifting, etc! Amy our host was wonderful to deal with (small problem, fixed right away). We will definitely be returning!! The Hogge's, The Surber's and the Simpson's (Missing the Lyon's this year)

Relaxing Reunion

We had a wonderful relaxing time at this beautiful house. We were able to unwind from the city life we live and enjoy the peaceful river. We had a reunion of older people, and everything we needed was there. We laughed, made good food and enjoyed each other's company. We were even saying when we left that we would need to come back next year. It was great that everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. There were 5 adults, 3 were single, and one couple. The view of the river was great! The weather was unusually warm and spectacular the entire time we were there. Thank you Amy for a great get away house in the country.

Great for all generations!

We had a WONDERFUL week at New River Lodge!! When we pulled up to the house several folks said...."This is where we are staying?!?! This is beautiful!" The spacious living area and gorgeous views from the porch were our favorite things. We loved playing foosball and bumper pool everyday! It was so cool to make memories with all the generations playing together. The family suites are amazing! The different configurations helped greatly when making space for everyone. Amy (host) is very responsive and helpful with any questions. 5 out of 5

Very generous space for three families, not extremely clean

We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of space in each of the rooms to fit our three families, however the carpet is very unclean. It was stained and caused our socks to turn brown on the bottom very quickly. There was also a bit of a smell that we assumed was coming from the carpet.

Wonderful Thanksgiving Gathering!

We joined our kids and grandkids for a Thanksgiving/Christmas celebration at New River Lodge. Everyone greatly enjoyed this home and our stay! The layout and anemities enabled all to be comfortable with room to roam. Coffee on the porch over looking the river was a favorite. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked, beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. We want to come back and intertube down the river in the summer! Took the nearby New River Trail (rails to trails) for a hike with the kids and it was a hit. Next day, rented some bikes in Fries and biked another section of the trail into the town of Fries. Perfect! All in all, New River Lodge and hosts, Amy and Susie were just great! We hope to be back!
