This was an amazing experience and cabin. It is well maintained, and perfect for a nice and cozy family getaway with the kids. I would recommend staying here if your looking for an amazing time.

Everything about this cabin was AMAZING! The inside was cozy and comfortable with that new cabin smell! Best part though was the outdoor amenities… the comfy bed swing on the porch, the built-in fire pit, and the cleverly crafted patio leading out to the elevated hot tub deck! Plus, it was centrally located to our excursions in Bryson City for the GSM Railroad train ride, GSM Cherokee for elk viewing and waterfall hikes, and Asheville for the Biltmore Estate. This was the PERFECT cabin… highly recommend it for couples or small families who want a fun Smoky Mountain vacation without the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge!

Awesome property. Clean, we'll appointed and very private. Driveway is tough but managed in my 2 wheel drive pickup. Overall a great weekend.

This lovely cabin was a great match for our family that included teenagers. They loved the swing and hot tub. The mountains and rushing creek made a great location. It was a great place to relax while being close to Cherokee and the mountains. The kitchen is well outfitted for those who want to cook. We visited during a few days of extreme rain when 4 wheel drive would have been niceWe loved this charming cabin.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful mountain cabin. Nestled right on the side of the mountain, the setting is pure magic—peaceful, private, and surrounded by stunning views.The stone fire pit outside was a highlight. We spent evenings gathered around it, sipping wine and soaking in the mountain air. It made the whole experience feel so special and cozy.And the hot tub… absolute perfection. Sitting outside under the stars while soaking in the hot water was pure bliss. We used it every night and never wanted to get out.The cabin itself was very clean, thoughtfully designed, and full of character. Everything felt fresh, well-maintained, and ready for a relaxing getaway. If you’re looking for a peaceful mountain escape with a great outdoor fire pit and an incredible hot tub, this is the place. We already can’t wait to come back!

I have stayed at many cabins and this may be the cutest cabin we have ever booked! The decore and layout was very tasteful and well done. The outside swing, fire pit, and hot tub area was my favorite. We spent a lot of time outside because it was so inviting. It was hard to leave the cabin to go sightseeing because the cabin was so cozy and fun. Great place for couples or a small family. We enjoyed celebrating my husbands birthday. Highly recommend staying at Hickory Wind!

Beautiful and very comfortable. Views are fantastic. Hot tub was an huge hit! All that we needed and more. Most importantly, very clean!! Driveway, we had a truck no problem. Just a quick note, AWD would be helpful.

I stayed with my wife and our 6 year old in mid-October and this place is amazing! It is exactly as depicted in the photos. We made dinner in the kitchen each night and had everything we need. The view from the deck and spa tub are amazing! I will stay again the next time I am in the area.
