We had a great stay. Only downside was garbage disposal didn't work and the TV in big bedroom did not work. Overall for the price it was great!

Communication with host was very quick. We arrived a little later than expected and had trouble getting in and they responded very quickly and we got right in. Overall great stay, nice place and the beach was amazing.

Amazing Vacation!

Great property. Enjoyed the stay and communication was fast with the owner as we only had 1 minor hiccup but owner pulled thru within seconds to correct the minor issue. Will definitely recommend and book same property in future!

Mothership Weekend

Perfect accommodations for attending a weekend music festival. Loved the large balcony with ocean view - comfortably accommodated 4 people for morning coffee. We found the kitchen setup adequate but did not cook any meals. Rooms were good size and we all felt we had enough room to be comfortable. The property is well-priced for the overall location and accommodations. We would visit again.

Dont agree to purchase the chairs and umbrella thru vrbo bc the owner already has them available. Asked that question beforehand but the answer was still unclear. Rooms were not super clean. Some pictures on the wall or decorative items looked like they had never been dusted or cleaned. Shower in master had no place to hold soaps and shampoo etc. Had to lay them in the floor. Yuck. Decor very outdated. Best thing about the room was it was on the 2nd floor and the stairs were close so we didnt have to constantly wait for the elevator. Not impressed with the pool and outside tiki bar was closed down. Front desk workers were rude and never around nor very helpful. Biggest grievance was either the washer or dryer one thru out a black grease-like substance possibily ruining at least 10 of our items….some of them brand new clothes/shirts. I have pictures to prove it.

When you reached out, I clearly explained that we offer beach services as an ala carte option on our reservations, as we have plenty of guests come through that don't need it. So instead of automatically charging every guest we have like most owners do, we reach out to y'all and set it up on a case-to-case basis. Not really sure where this issue with this is, but we have never had problems with this in the past. Regardless, we appreciate the feedback, and I will have my team look into the other issues you claim to have run into

While you can't beat the location, the pictures of the living room did not match the set up of what was really there, the washer and dryer need to be replaced as the dryer was not working. I will say the owner did order a new washer and dryer while we were there, but Home Depot did screw up on not having the correct cord. Overall was a good experience

Disappointing

The place is so old and dirty. Furniture falling apart no handles on dressers all the old yellow dimmed lights 1 or so bulbs even worked. Very very not worth the money this is a 79.00 a night stay kind of place.

Independence Day Baseball tournament

The building as a whole needs a lot of work, it was dirty, smelled bad, lacks sufficient parking, and needs upgrades all over. My unit, half the light switches didn’t work, furniture was old and ratty, it was nothing compared to what was show in pictures. The only positive was the issue I had with AC not working was resolved quickly by unit owner.

We had issues with switches for lights. The exhaust fans in bathrooms didn’t work. The dryer gave us issues. It stopped drying. It started back before we left. I started looking and it appears the lint was blowing between wall

Terrible room

The resort is nice but the room we had this time needs lots of work the master shower has mold all in the grout and the dryer vent isn’t hooked up leaving a laundry room full of lint bathrooms don’t have enough light to see urself in the mirror the bed is like sleeping on a rock the exhaust fans only work after you push the light stwitch up and down several times the balcony had rotted banana and fruit left on it the second bedroom had dead bugs in floor then the hot water was barely enough to wash ur body off the front door only locked if the door wasn’t shut all the way leaving a 2 inch gap the furniture was old and broke down so rent a different room !!!!!!

Spring Break

A group of college girls and I stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed it. We liked the location and closeness even though it was a 10 minute uber drive from Miramar Beach (Destin) where the rest of our friends were staying. There was a large security guard outside that was checking the cars as they drove in which was scary but enforcing to people who were not supposed to be on the property. Overall, the stay was nice but we had to fit 4 girls in the king bed at night which was a squeeze because the pullout couch was in VERY poor condition and extremely uncomfortable. Finally, the biggest issue was when one of my friends who slept in the king bed had to go to the Urgent Care because she got bed bugs all over her body from head to toe. She had bites that itched all over her face, arms, chest, and legs that itched and irritated her very badly. It was confirmed that it was bed bugs which caused the itching and bites making her break out all over her body. This was a huge dissapointment for us all but especially for her because she was not able to have as an enjoyable vacation. Also, when we arrived there were only a few rolls of toilet paper and we had to purchase a bunch more which was annoying. Otherwise, the stay was average. I recommend renting a house over a condo if you are a group of young college girls like we are.

I appreciate all feedback but it’s difficult to address any issues when the first I am aware of it is from this review. Any feedback will be looked at and addressed asap if needed. The bed bugs comment concerns me since I recently had a snowbirds (two months stay) checked out and did not report any issues. It’s odd that the feedback noted that four people slept on the king bed but only one had this issue. Please note that sand fleas at the beach exhibit these symptoms as well. With that said, I will definitely look into it. Again, all feedback are welcome and would appreciate that I be contacted right away if issues occur. Issues will come up from time to time but my responsiveness is the ultimate goal. Please read the previous reviews to get a better understanding of my commitment and welfare of my guests.

Fall Break

Stay was excellent. Perfect weather and beautiful water. The condo was clean as far as floors, beds and surface but people forget to clean under the beds and I noticed a few bugs in the kitchen and spare bathroom. The condo is nothing fancy but nice and served our purpose. Kitchen accessories are very limited not even a pot holder or baking sheet. The beach chairs and umbrella was a huge plus for $50 for the week. Ceiling needed some repairs in places but understandable when you a trying to get someone to do repairs these days. Limited hot water in the showers. Overall the unit was good and the resort is very convenient to the beach.

Home Away from Home

Just to start we have been staying at Surfside for over 15 years in different condos, and I will have to say we have not had one bad one. This location was on second floor so easy to get to pool or beach. Will look for opening in the future.

The condo was okay. The stove doesn't work properl

Process of renting was easy, no issues. The condo wasn't very clean behind the master bed it was very dirty, with broken glass on the floor. There wasn't a vaccum or broom to clean things up. We did buy a broom and left it there for next person. There was a filthy pillow case on one of the pillows in master bedroom. Location was great.
