Water pressure was terrible and barely came out of shower head. Couldn’t even wash shampoo out of hair. House was clean but water pressure was a zero star.

Check in and check out was simple. The cabin is the perfect size for up to 4 people. It's very nice and peaceful. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Don't stay here if you want to sleep, though it's a cute place.

Reviewer Comments: The beds are completely horrible. We slept on the sofa bed in the living room because the master bedroom was something that should be banned by the Geneva Convention. I would have slept on the pool table had it all been level, despite the sign they made saying otherwise.. its not remotely level. Really cute place though. Just ****** beds, no Wi-Fi, location is not great and the dishes were from 1976. BUT... it is dog friendly which made all the difference in the world. Thank you for that at least.

Great cabin but lacked cleanliness

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The layout and view were great. It was quite a way from Pigeon Forge but it was nice and quiet. The main issue was a massive amount of lady bugs and some dirty sheets. Most of the lady bugs were dead and were all over the floor. There were more than 100 and I am not exaggerating. It was bad enough that we had to sweep as soon as we arrived. We were caught by suprise when we noticed some blood on a pillowcase. Luckily we brought laundry detergent and remedied the issue quickly. Other than those easy fixes we loved our stay. We just wished that was taken care of before we arrived.

Christmas Disaster

We drove 8 hours straight to our rental. Paid in full only to arrive and they wouldn't give us the code to get in unless we drove 30 minutes longer to go in person to their office. I could have gotten over this, except when I called to beg and plead to let us in, the guy interrupted me and said, "MAM, LET ME SPEAK!". Several times. We had our puppies and my son and his friend. We were tired and everyone had to go to the bathroom. It was dark, cold and we were tired of the long drive. We travel all over the world and have never had this issue. It is just a given that you arrive and are granted access. They were quick to take our payment in full but not to let us in. We drive all the way to the office and over an hour later get access to our rental to find it was filthy. The pictures speak for themselves. Dirty towels, shower, bathtub, kitchen. The T.V. was on. The lights were on. Needless to say I'm infuriated. 2 hours later now and it's past 8pm they send cleaners out. The cleaners were very nice and this was not their fault. This is a management issue. We tipped them nicely. Now on to the hot tub. It had red algae in it and looked really gross. It was 2 days later when the hot tub man came out and the tooke out the filter and it was disgusting. I'm so pissed and disappointed. We saved for a whole year for this trip. They gave us a credit for the cleaning fee which is an insult to injury. At the very least I expected a refund for our first night. This place is managed horribly. There are so many other options I advise you to go else where. SHAME ON YOU VRBO FOR CHARGING US ALL YOUR FEES FOR NOTHING. WE WILL NOT BE BOOKING WITH YOU AGAIN. PLEASE REFUND YOUR FRIVOLOUS FEES!

Nice cabin not the best stay

Place was very clean and great size. Nicely decorated. There is a big form to fill out and you have to send pics of credit card and ID ahead of time. Hot tub was half empty when we got there, called the office and they told me they'd have maintenance come but they never did. Eventually found a hose to fill it ourselves but was disappointed that it wasn't taken care of. Water does smell really bad, expected it from the description and some cabins are just like that but still may want to look for a place without that problem if there are any in the area. Be sure to bring your own bottled water, dish soap, sponges, oil, salt/pepper. They do have xfinity tv which was nice so we could watch Hulu, Netflix, prime, etc. Close to pigeon forge.

A lot of work for a sub par experience

I found this rental on vrbo with the pets allowed filter selected. I booked and immediately got a call. First to note, the automatic selection of payment is non refundable, so on the call, they ask,if for a fee, do u want to change. Next asked if a pet would be there and added that fee. Moving forward I was sent an extensive contract where every rule had a fee attached, for even the smallest of things. This was not clearly detailed or made available via vrbo. Upon reading this, there were very specific rules about the pet, also not available on vrbo but also not asked to me when called immediately after and asked about pets. The no contact check in is taxing. Once you finally are at peace with signing this contract you have to take a selfie with your ID and picture of your credit card. Can't fax it per their request bc of poor lines or printing too dark. I emailed this. They then sent an email a few hrs before arrival for entrance info. If you do not do this, you travel 20-30 mins out of the way to meet at the office which is likely not open by check in time depending on arrival. Once arriving, the space is dark, the water is from a well and tinged yellow, the hot water smells of like a hot spring "sulfer-like" (rotten eggs) smell. The hot tub, wich they mentioned was drained after each time, had a thick brown-yellow film. We were told to put on jets, it's bc of well water, and it would come up. This was not the case. (Have pictures) So, we had bottled water, showered elsewhere, and did not use the advertised hot tub. Outside of these issues, the location, cleanliness and someone contacting us was fine. Would likely not recommend or stay again.

Unfortunate events

Snow storm came , we lost power. We where left on our own to survive. No updates, no generator, no help from property owners . Other than that Tennessee was beautiful.
