Welcome to Salty Mermaid, your Surfside Beach retreat just steps from the ocean. This three-level coastal escape blends breezy charm with thoughtful, refreshed touches, offering spacious living for families or groups. Relax in the private pool and open-air spa, gather for meals with ocean views on the balconies or outdoor dining area, and enjoy bright, open spaces inside with a modern kitchen. Just a short stroll from downtown Surfside Beach, you’ll be near local restaurants, shops, nightlife, and the brand-new Surfside Pier—making Salty Mermaid the perfect home base for your coastal getaway.

PRIVATE POOL
Open year-round. Pool heating is available in spring and fall (Apr 1–May 31, Sept 1–Oct 31) for an additional $300 + tax per week. Heating is only effective when temperatures—day and night—are forecasted to be above 60°F. We recommend checking the forecast closer to your stay (but at least 5 days prior) before adding heat.

PRIVATE SPA
This is an open-air spa, not an enclosed hot tub. Heating is available Apr 1–Oct 31 for an additional $250 + tax per week. Because it is open-air, heating is only allowed when temperatures—day and night—are forecasted to be above 60°F. We recommend checking the forecast closer to your stay (but at least 5 days prior) before adding heat.
