Host was very welcoming and answered all my questions. The place is very secure with multiple doors and codes to get in. The decor is also very unique and fun! Definitely recommend!

Great spot very cool. Loved the fire and all the nice lights. Great communication with host and easy check in and out. The front door opens to the first large bedroom, so this is something important to know if you are staying with colleagues/friends as I was, people keeping different schedules must walk through the front bedroom to enter the rest of the place. Still, very cool style, amazing porch, great photo ops! Comfy beds and all around satisfied - thank you!

Great Location

We loved staying here over the holidays with our 3 adult "children." The taco place next door was really good and convenient and the people there were very friendly. We could easily get around Denver in this centrally located apartment. I would definitely stay here again.

GREAT LOCATION

The place is in a great location, convenient to everything. Great outdoor area to relax and unwind after a full day of site seeing. My only 2 complaints are the small tiny 3rd bedroom and the homeless guy hanging outside begging for money.

Cool place. But…

Neat place. Just know that the main bedroom doubles as the entrance to the residence. Makes it a bit odd if others are coming and going. The outdoor area could be great but I don’t think it’s been cleaned since the pics on the app have been taken. We didn’t get our check in info (access codes) until 35 minutes before check in and that was after 3 messages/calls/texts from me plus 1 or 2 from VRBO customer support direct to the property manager.

Perfect place for a best friend reunion!

My best friend and I hadn't seen each other in years, so we wanted a place where we could talk, hang out, and catch up comfortably. We had such a great time staying here. The apartment looks just like the pictures, maybe even better! It's fall, so in addition to the cool, modern decor you can see in the pictures, they had little jack'o'lanterns and other little fall decorations, which was a nice touch. The apartment was warm, clean, nice sized, and had everything we needed. The back porch area was the best! It was private and homey, even better than we expected! You could hear some noise from the street, but is a lively neighborhood within walking distance to bars, restaurants, stores, etc, so we expected to hear life going on outside the door. We mostly stayed in the apartment, but when we ventured out, we felt safe in the neighborhood. We arrived early, before the room was ready, and we were allowed to store our suitcases at Kinga's Lounge, the restaurant right next to the apartment. It wasn't open yet, so one of the owners met us at the door and helped us get everything in. He was very nice and friendly. When it was ready, the bags were already in the apartment waiting for us. Kinga is also the owner of the apartment, and she stayed in touch throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well, which was very nice. I would definitely recommend staying here. And if you get a chance, you should eat at Kinga's Lounge! They have excellent pierogies, infused vodkas, a good beer selection, and friendly service. We liked it so much, it was the only place we went to twice during our stay. Thanks, Kinga, for a wonderful place to stay and reunite with an old friend!

Overall a good experience, but owner needs better upkeep.

If you are looking for a place to stay that is close to a lot of great shops, restaurants, parks, and fun, this will do the trick. It's ideal if you don't think you'll be in the actual house all that much. Concerns: 1. The property was not very clean. The patio area (which is gorgeous) had dirty pillows, dirty seating, etc. It was not thoroughly cleaned. You will dirty any of your clothes if you sit directly on any of the surfaces. 2. We found a hair on one of the sheets in the bed -- we did not use that bed. 3. Several of the mugs were chipped at exactly the spot where you drink. Most furniture was visibly stained. 4. The owner was semi-responsive. I asked a question about the wifi password and she never responded to me. 5. My major concern was with safety. The door to the patio opened out -- therefore the hinges were on the outside. The patio itself had two gates that were locked, but only by a padlock which could easily be cut. There is also a large open spot where one could climb through. We put a chair with a stack of dishes on it up against the door so we could be alerted if anyone should break in. 6. The front door was also a push out with the hinges on the outside. This did not feel safe. I expressed my concerns about safety to the owner and was dismissed. 7. Outdated description. It says she owns the bar next door (she sold it awhile ago) and that she would be nearby if we needed anything, but she messaged she was out of town. Checkout time is wrong.

The area was incredibly cute and had access to all the local spots we wanted. We loved the hot tub. However, we had to move the TV stick from one TV to the other, there was no remote for the outdoor firepit, and there was a safety event that was never addressed when we sent a message. We had a great time, but a bit of attention paid would have made this a perfect stay.

Perfect Bachelorette Party Venue!

Seriously obsessed with this place. It was like we were in New York City with how jt was laid out and decorated. Kind if hard to believe that it’s right off of Colfax because you really couldn’t tell!! My girls and I had so much fun celebrating my bachelorette party here!!!

VIP Oasis

Glam and super clean weekend getaway, we felt like VIP’s enjoying the private outdoor space. Plenty of seating and a full size fridge for snacks and beverages. The hot tub was a joy, check-in a breeze and memories made in this lovely old mansion will last these friends a lifetime.

Fantastic experience!

We wanted to experience downtown Denver, rather than the mountains, and have a good family weekend. We have 3 daughters and a son-in-law age 19 to 25. The three bedrooms and two bathrooms worked really well for us. And the patio is AMAZING! The large hot tub fits all six of us easily. If we wanted, we could've watched the large screen tv mounted outside. We used the grill on the patio for our steaks for dinner one night. The kitchen is small but we made two dinners for our family. They make good use of the space. It has a very large crock pot that was very handy. The kitchen also has a large new refrigerator with two freezer drawers and one drawer was filled with ice for us. The owner also left us a bottle of champagne in the refrigerator. The dishwasher is also new. The property also has stacked washer and dryer. Kinga kept checking in with us to make sure everything was okay and if we needed anything. She is VERY responsive. A five-star host for sure!

Unique and charming with outdoor space in the city

We arrived later in the evening and initially had issues finding the entry door, but we were able to find street parking and the apartment as instructed. Overall great place that is surrounded by restaurants and bars. We enjoyed the private patio and hot tub. Our only complaints were that the sheets are pilling and not cotton. Also, there’s a motion detector security light right outside the bedroom that goes off very often during the night, which is problematic for light sleepers. We’d recommend to anyone that is looking for a fun place in Denver.

Everything was amazing!!!!!

I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and beautiful, and the patio was too die for! Kinga was super sweet and very responsive to any questions we had. You most definitely need to check out her lounge connected to the place. There is also a Mexican bar and restaurant only 20 ft away that has amazing food! Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks Kinga!!
