Great View and Location

Definitely was skeptical about the carpet but honestly wasn't bad. Had expected it to smell a bit musty but it was not at all. Honestly everything was great. 17th floor but elevators were always running and never really waited for one long. Pool and tiki bar good too. The view was amazing from the balcony and from the living room. For us it was exactly what we needed. Rated cleanliness 4 only because the dishwasher smelled like death when we opened it to put used dishes in it. Glad we did it on last day because that smell lingered. It's really old and should be replaced. Especially if it's being used for cleaning for the next guests.

Everything was a good experience except check out time. Its much too early and all because they want to offer check in warly options for additional charges. This is just wrong.

The view was beautiful and the place was spacious. It could have been cleaned better. You can tell the cleaning crew has mopped and wiped things down with a dirty rag and mop. The stock on towels was a little low for the amount of people the place slept. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were fluffy. The air conditioner had trouble keeping up with the temp. The 2nd bedroom stayed hot. And I'm pretty sure the master bathroom closet stored a pillow full of mold. Other than the few cons of staying here the facility is nice, the pool was clean and was not to crowded and it had great access to the beach.

Needs update

First time staying at watercrest and found the room here through VRBO. Didn’t know this unit was on the 17th floor until I had my confirmation email. Pictures of this place were not like the room only thing that looked the same was the kitchen. This unit needs some major upgrades it could be so much nicer. There is carpet throughout except in the kitchen and bathrooms and in the shower/toilet area in the master. Having the carpet in there it just smelled old and musty like it hasn’t been rented in a while or cleaned very good. The beds need new mattress cause they are rough! First night we got there thermostat was set to 70 came back from store and notice how hot it still was, so I turned it down to 68 and still didn’t really cool the place off. So we went looking into the vents, there is a main vent in the kitchen that is pointed toward the stove and has the most pressure of air coming out. All the other vents you could barely feel the air coming out. So we tried to close that vent off to push more air throughout and no luck. The 2nd bedroom was hot the whole trip even with a box fan running. I reached out to the owner asking if anyone had ever complained about it air problem and all he asked what I had it set to which I told him at 68 and he said “it’s best to keep it at 70 or above” and that he would reach out to someone. Never heard anything else. pool area is nice, small amount of lounge chairs. But awful sewage and trash smell all day.

Condo was very clean and comfortable. Rental company was excellent with communication We didn’t require fancy just clean and the basics. This unit met those needs and we look forward to returning in the future
