Five Points / Gameday Retreat

Welcome to your private getaway located in Five Points – the perfect spot for gameday festivities, in close proximity to the Beechwood shopping center and UGA.

This private oasis offers the peaceful ambience of a quiet neighborhood with a mini-arcade twist. You`ll be sure to enjoy the spoils of the private patio/backyard, corn hole, and, of course, turning back the clock as you indulge in the simple joys of a competitive foosball game, or even better, a friendly game of NFL Blitz.

Come relax!

Two of the bedrooms have queen beds and the third bedroom has a full bed. All beds are equipped with cotton linen`s and comfy pillows. Plenty of extra towels/wash cloths/hand towels are stocked in the linen closet!

Guest have access to the entire home! Including 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a full kitchen, separate dining room, living room with large TV, and a bonus game space with a TV, NFL Blitz video game, foosball game and couches for lounging. Out back guest have access to a fenced in backyard with lush green grass, a large patio with outdoor furniture and a corn hole game. Perfect for gameday weekends!

Our Co-Host Zach is available to help with any needs guest may have! Reach out via an Airbnb message or find his direct phone number listed on the check-in sheet found in the kitchen.

The house is in a quiet neighborhood with quick access to shopping, restaurants and UGA. The house was very comfortable with a large back patio. Of the 3 bedrooms only 1 has a closet and only 1 bedroom had a bench where a suitcase could be placed. A couple of luggage racks and maybe over the door hanging rack would help. One bedroom, not the bedroom with the closet, had an en suite bathroom. The other two bedrooms shared a large hall bath. We managed just fine with the closet situation, but if you’re renting for a wedding or graduation it might be helpful to know these details. I do need to explain my lower score on “smooth check-in”. In the past, I have received an email from owners saying that the check-in information would be sent the week of, etc. But since I hadn’t heard anything by the Tuesday before our Friday rental, I emailed and inquired - and was sent information right away, which I appreciated. The owner did say he usually sends the day before. He also said the door entry code would be sent day of, but apparently he forgot or lost track of time and I had to call a couple of times before I got him. He sent it and apologized of course. Overall, I think a little more communication would be helpful. It is a pleasant place to stay.

Game Day Retreat greets you with great curb appeal. Upon entering, the property is cheerful, light and airy. There is a very welcoming feel. The owner is most gracious and answers all questions quickly. The location of the property is perfect. It’s minutes away from UGA campus as well as a great area for eating out and shopping. We fully recommend this property.
