Pond Creek Escape est l'endroit idéal pour vous détendre et échapper à la vie trépidante de la ville, mais aussi à proximité d'Athènes, siège de l'Université de Géorgie avec sa musique raffinée, ses sports, ses magasins et ses merveilleux restaurants. Besoin de suggestions où manger ou quoi faire, les propriétaires sont pleins de bonnes idées pour vous. Il y a aussi une table avec des informations locales pour que vous puissiez lire et apprécier.

Pond Creek Escape est un appartement en sous-sol situé sur 7 hectares, à seulement 8 miles du centre-ville d'Athènes. L'appartement dispose d'une entrée privée et d'une place de parking près de la porte pour une voiture.

Vous pourrez profiter de la nature tout en étant assis au bord de l'étang ou en écoutant l'eau tomber sur le barrage du ruisseau. À l'intérieur, les clients peuvent profiter de la salle de jeux avec table de billard / ping-pong, table de jeux de cartes, jeu de fléchettes, canapé sectionnel et télévision grand écran. Il y a un bar / cuisine avec un évier, un micro-ondes, un réfrigérateur et une cafetière.

La chambre principale a un lit king size et est la plus proche de la grande salle de bain. La chambre des enfants a deux lits jumeaux et un loft de jeu vraiment cool. La 3ème chambre a un lit double et un bureau. Hors de la salle de jeux se trouve un salon avec un futon et des armoires qui contiennent des jeux de société tels que Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, Blockus et d'autres jeux. Il y a aussi des jeux de cartes, Mah jong, backgammon, échecs et dames disponibles.

Il y a un bureau qui comprend un bureau, une chaise et un berceau. Il y a une grande salle de bain avec une grande douche carrelée de plain-pied.

Le câble de base et le wifi sont inclus dans votre séjour. Le mot de passe wifi vous sera remis à votre arrivée.

Un gril à gaz sera fourni pour griller, si vous le souhaitez. Du bois de chauffage sera fourni pour un feu de camp dans le foyer près de l'étang et un panier d'ingrédients s'more et des bâtons de rôtissage à la guimauve est fourni pour chaque séjour.

This property was amazing! The location to downtown Athens was convenient, only about 15 minutes away. The basement rental was much larger than expected. It was also so comfy, with the huge sectional, and nice bedrooms. The pool table that converted to a ping pong table was a huge hit with my family. The hosts were awesome! I asked for an iron, and he brought one down to me immediately! The only drawbacks were the limited parking and only 1 (however large!) bathroom, but we made it work! I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot between serenity and society. The location is mins away from everywhere I went in downtown Athens, but I really enjoyed staying at a peaceful getaway. All the amenities were as described or pictured. The host were exceptional. I appreciated the communication over the app, and the offering/assistance with building a fire. I will definitely book this property again. Thanks for a great weekend.

The owners have opened their park-like property to guests, and were excellent hosts! Gorgeous setting, well-planned interior, and all the little things that matter. Easy drive into Athens, but definitely quiet and peaceful location. Thank you for hosting!

Quiet Athens Alternative

Great house just outside Athens. Quiet beautiful property that is an easy drive or inexpensive Uber ride into town. You may find it hard to leave with all there is to do at the house. We cant wait to stay there again.

A wonderdul Stay-cation!

We rented this property to get a short get away for the weekend. We fished, and enjoyed the bonfire and had a wonderful time. It was much more than we thought we were going to get.

Favorite place to stay for anything in Athens

This place is a nice getaway from the craziness of downtown Athens at a fraction of the cost. You can be in the middle of it all in a matter of minutes. Room to spread out with comfy couches and a great outdoor space we didn't have time to enjoy. Will be staying here again if it's available.

Perfect spot

My family of four had the most wonderful trip! Our girls (ages 3 and 5) were especially delighted by the toys, the indoor playhouse, and the marshmallows for s’mores. And we were all thrilled by the pool table, the walking trails, the hammock by the pond’s waterfall, and the spacious rooms. Our hosts even offered to light the firepit for us — great stay all around!

We scheduled this stay to correspond to UGA's graduation. It worked out perfectly. The host was easy to work with. We grilled out, played pool and enjoyed sitting by the pond. Though 6 miles out of town we were able to Uber to and from with no issues.

Perfect little escape

Escape to Pond Creek was exactly what we were looking for on our annual Father/Son trip. Only 15 minutes to Athens to see the Georgia Bulldogs game and experience the town. A great country escape. The owners had the fire pit prepped for us. Fishing rods set up for our sons to use. Supplies to cook S'mores. It was perfect. Would definitely recommend it!

Home away from home

This has been my favorite rental of all time. The accommodations were spacious and we could really spread out, super comfortable couch, too. I loved the backyard deck area-it was so lovely with strings of lights, and Charles even made a fire for us so we could make s’mores! Jeanine was helpful with answering all my questions. There were so many nice touches, and I would happily stay again should my travels ever bring me back to Athens. And even though we were just renting the space, the owners made us feel like guests. Such a lovely experience!

Very comfortable and convenient stay

We needed a place to visit with our son while he was in town and our home was being renovated. It was a very clean, cozy and comfortable space. Conveniently located between our home and the town of Athens. We initially were surprised it was a basement apartment since I filtered only houses but I did see where it is mentioned further down the listing description. But it had almost everything we needed to have a great week. I could see this space being perfect for a bigger family gathering. Very nice property and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Our boys 1 and 3 really enjoyed the space. We loved the back patio and pond. I was concerned there would be a lot of bugs but they were not bad at all. So thankful for time with family and a place to enjoy with them

Awesome Getaway

We were in town for my daughters graduation from UGA. Only 10-15 minutes from downtown Athens. Property my was peaceful and quiet. Nice deck and fire pit by a pond with a small waterfall. Inside was perfect with lots of games. Hosts were great. Perfect communication before and during our stay. Highly recommend!!!

We moved back to Athens 20 years ago to get away from the traffic. Pond Creek was the perfect getaway, yet still close to Athens and all it has to offer. We decided to become hosts after all our friends visited and fell in love with our space and property. We have thoroughly enjoyed meeting new people and sharing our peaceful escape for the last 5 years.

Coming from the city, we decided we needed to live at Pond Creek after going to the back by the pond and creek. The peacefulness of living on 7 acres with water flowing is wonderful!
