Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Colony Reef is our go-to in St. Augustine. This was our second time in this unit. Its location is fabulous, close to the pool and boardwalk. The beds are comfortable (although the pillows leave something to be desired). The kitchen is mostly prepared for cooking, although we needed to bring pot holders and kitchen towels. It’s a great unit. We did have a slight problem that took a few days to remedy, but the management was on top of it.

Perfect Getaway

When we walked in, the place was a lot bigger than we expected! It was clean and airy and just steps from the pool! My family will be going back. Very, very nice condo.

Convenient and perfect for family!

The unit we were in was so convenient to the pool and beach and shopping and historic St. Augustine. Everything was easy to do with 5 kids in tow. The condo had beach chairs and boogie boards, night lights and a stocked kitchen. The patio was great. The pool was huge and gorgeous. It was an easy boardwalk to an enormous white sand beach. Everything was perfect for our family. And when hurricane Dorian cut our trip short, the management was so friendly and prompt to refund us the two nights we didn't get to use. I would recommend Colony Reef Club to everyone traveling to St. Augustine!

Just as beautiful as the ad

Our week at Colony Reef Club in St. Augustine, FL was absolutely amazing!!! The condo was everything we hoped it would be. Short walk to the ocean, ground floor condo, all the amenities one would ever wish for including pool, hot tub, kids pool, exercise room, game room with card and bingo times, playground area. Our condo had all of the kitchen appliances, large and small, washer, dryer, sweeper, blenders, dishes, everything we needed and then some. The condo was very clean and had extra blankets and pillows. After stopping at the nearby WinDixie for some groceries and snacks, it was just like home except better with the gorgeous beach, bright Florida sun and sunsets that lit up the most picturesque sky. Thank you so much Colony Reef for an amazing get away! We will be back!

The playground is in great shape. Pool and hot tub very clean. Pool isn’t heated but pairs well with the hot tub. Unfortunately the AC in our condo was broken most of the week but the maintenance staff did everything they could to keep us comfortable and accommodate us.Our unit itself was a little outdated but was clean and served its purpose. I liked the ground floor and location to pool and playground were great.

First time to Colony Reef, but not the last

Condo was as advertised. Very comfortable and well furnished for our month long stay. Even though weather was not great some days during our stay, we were able to enjoy the covered patio many days. The horseshoe configuration of the buildings provided a wind break most days.The unit was beautiful with clear recent updates. Kitchen was small, but more than adequate. We had everything we needed to cook meals- though so many great restaurant choices in St Augustine area, we cooked less than we usually do. Master bed was comfortable and attached shower had great water pressure. Note: while this is a 3 bedroom unit, the 3rd bedroom is very small and realistically only suitable for kids. Worked great for us as our overflow storage area.The Colony Reef property is very well maintained. Staff is friendly and was very helpful with a last minute request. We took full advantage of the workout room. We loved the direct access to the beach. Highly recommend this unit and property!

We love Colony Reef!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed another year staying at Colony Reef, however all things the same, we would choose another unit in the future. We thought the bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and updated, but wish they would have carried that through to the rest of the unit. In my opinion, the furniture was outdated and the tv was on the smaller side with not the best picture. The kitchen cabinets were over filled with a ton of dishes and items mostly which were dusty and looked like they had not been used in a very long time. The unit had a distinct smell to it, not bad, just smelled dated. Even our friends visiting noticed it. The flooring was nicely updated and the paintings throughout were beautiful. The location was perfect and we spent most of the time on the patio. I think I’m just particular because we have stayed in much nicer condos at Colony Reef. The grounds and staff were amazing and we tried the cabana rentals this time and loved it.

Lots of fixing, no relaxing!!

We are very disappointed because the location was incredible. Good pools, steps away from the beach, very easy to get to and very close to the historic district. The minute we got to the apartment, we noticed it was very superficially cleaned. Mugs still had dry coffee, pans with eggs and forks with avocado on them. When we went to use the towels, we found a living bug on it. So we had to pack up all our clothes to make sure we wouldn't carry the bug with us back home (we left one of the bugs in a bag for the property manager to see). The lights in the second bedroom did not work and sparked when we tried to turn them on. The master bedroom had a leak from the upstairs toilet into our shower and floor. We spent new years eve cleaning the leak and scrubbing the shower, while being worried that the water was from a dirty toilet. The good thing was that an older gentleman from the property had come the next day to hear our issues. We hadn't been able to use the shower until the following day when he could disinfect and clean it. We are very upset about not being able to spend a relaxing time due to constantly having to fix issues within the apartment. It completely ruined our vacation. We spent more time fixing things that should've been fixed before our arrival than enjoying the beach. Then we left feeling rushed out due to the fact that we would be CHARGED a fee for staying after 10 am. This apartment was cleaned haphazardly, and not very hospitable.

Hi Daniella, I am sorry you did not have a positive vacation as we always stive for our guests to have comfortable and enjoyable stays. I want you to know the unit was deep cleaned after your stay so there will be no issues for future guests. I apologize the unit was not cleaned properly when you arrived, but you failed to mention in your review that we immediately apologized and refunded your entire cleaning fee. In addition, we contacted Pest Control right away and the good news is they went to the unit and found no trace of the bugs mentioned. I am sorry there was a leak from the unit above. Sometimes things happen that are out of our control, but I am glad our Facility Coordinator, Norm, was able to help with the clean up and get you additional towels until our plumber could come the following day to fix the issue in the above unit. Please know we will never charge a guest if they don't check out at 10am. If you would have called or emailed, we would have gladly given you additional time to pack up. Thanks, Natalie D.

Very clean, updated and a great location on the 1st floor which made it so easy with the kids. While we were there, The property management had food trucks that included snow cones and night time screening of finding Nemo on the lawn area. That was really fun for the kids. It is so conveniently located to the beach as well as other activities within St. Augustine - Marineland and Downtown St. Augustine. Great place. We will be back!

For what it cost for the cleaning we did not feel 2107 was totally cleaned, grill was not clean, had to clean it before use and only used it once! We have stayed in this condo several times and love where it is located as to beach and pool!

Had I not been aware of Ian, I’d never have guessed they had been through a Hurricane. Kudos to groundskeepers and all! Well done! The unit we stayed in was roomy and first floor, which was perfect. The large open grassy area in center was perfect. Such a nice place to play for the kids and adults. Pool area is stunning and the walkway to beach is very well maintained. We had 4 adults and a 17 month old. It was perfect for us and plenty of room. I would definitely stay at Colony Reef again. Perfect location for a nice family vacation! Also, the front desk people are so kind. Shout out to George who patiently responded to all of my questions and even allowed an early check in, which helped with a 17 month old! Thank you!! Will plan another trip and Colony Reef will be at top of my list!

Should have checked all the closets for additional games, boogie boards, beach chairs and so much more before the end of the trip. Just as an FYI for the next. We had the best time!!!! Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Consistentely great. We use Colony Reef Club for our family's vacation each year and will continue to do so. Family friendly, great location. Can't miss!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: So glad to be back each year to the Colony Reef Club (2107) We had nice, warm weather this year and enjoyed our stay, just too short. Our family all love it there and take turns planning their vacation.

Great Stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay! We really liked the room because of the location on ground level andyo the pool. The master bed was really hard and the patio furniture very old but overall it was a great stay. The cleaning staff had turned the refrigerator up and it took 48 hours for it to cool back down, that was the worst part but not the owner of the rooms fault. We would stay here again.
