Neat, clean, well maintained, beautiful

The reviews are always important to us, and although they were great they didn’t prepare me for how wonderful this home and this host really were- I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing location- super close to the beaches, and the view of the hills were spectacular. Incredibly unique and one of a kind - for example one morning a fog that came rolling off the ocean settled just below the hills that the nest of homes built there are sitting on. The balcony sits at a pitch in relation to the hillside, providing us a kind of once in a life time above the clouds type of feeling. Spectacular would still be an understatement! I can’t thank the owners enough for sharing their real-life slice of heaven with my family! I look forward to visiting again. Thanks again Janette!

Wow fantastic property!

This accommodation was in a wonderful safe location and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Santa Monica. The owner Janette was extremely helpful with any questions we had and suggested some lovely restaurants nearby. The house was totally equipped with anything we needed and very spacious, luxurious and comfortable. We would not hesitate to return here again in the future and have no hesitation recommending this rental.

Family Paradise Overlooking the Pacific

Our family had 4 couples, 1 single and 2 kids traveling to the Los Angeles area for a concert and New Year's Eve events. The home was in wonderful condition, very clean and very inviting. We spent an evening just staying home because we loved the back patio, which included an outdoor entertainment system, sectional sofa, grill and view of Pacific Ocean sunsets. We loved this residence so much. This family home has 3 kids, so our children felt right at home with the creative and fun environment rooms. There were 2 comfortable living areas, a huge dining room and the community pool/hot tub/playground was used every day by people in our group. The icing on the cake was what a joy it was to work with Janette. She was attentive before, during an after our stay (even mailing our daughter's pillow & then, her pillowcase to us, no questions asked). It really was like enjoying a home provided by family who live at the beach. The beach is less than a 10 minute drive, with Starbucks, VONS and great eateries in close proximity as well. This home is a gem and I hope your family enjoys it as much as we did.

Lovely Pacific Palisades home

We had a small, multi-generational family reunion, and had a great time! Lots of space for all 8 of us in a wonderfully appointed home. Janette took extra care and left extra touches to make it especially gracious. The view from the master bedroom and the patio is fantastic. Lots to do at the clubhouse as well - an added bonus! Short drive to the PCH made the beaches between Santa Monica and Malibu feel like ours.

Great house, great host

Three couples, each with little kids, and we had plenty of room in this beautiful home. Janette and her family were exceptionally accommodating and generous. Her sons even offered up their toys to our kids! The back patio just off the kitchen has a beautiful view of the mountains and the ocean. The house was very clean. Plenty of kitchenware, towels, and linens, and the washer/dryer in the garage was great to have with the little ones. We also had access to the community center - well within walking distance - with a great playground at the top of a mountain as well as a pool, hot tub, basketball and tennis courts, and a workout room. I wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy it all; we hope to come back next year.

Fabulous family time!

Our host family made a dream vacation even better by going above and beyond what was expected in every way. From personal emails with suggested activities, to lovely welcoming details in their home, our trip was made perfect with their help and their home. We spent wonderful days and nights visiting with family, eating home cooked meals, sightseeing and playing games around the table. You can't do that in a hotel. It was perfect!

Exceeded Expectations

Our family of six enjoyed a very comfortable stay here during the Thanksgiving holiday for our son's wedding; the experience exceeded our expectations. Not only are the home and its views as spectacular as pictured, but our hosts went out of their way to accommodate our needs and requests. The owner was very easy to work with and extended some amazing touches of hospitality that helped to make our time wonderful and lovely in every way. Also, the location is convenient yet quiet and relaxing. Double thumbs up--highly recommend!

Great House!

We very much enjoyed staying here with our family including 2 young children. The house is decorated very warmly, has great views, and everything you could need. The owner is very responsive and helps to make sure everything goes smoothly and you feel welcome. Our kids loved the family friendly environment in the bedrooms and around the house. The hiking around the house is really nice. Thanks again!

Spacious and accommodating!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return someday. Everything about the house was as described and met or exceeded our expectations. Our party included three adult couples and two small children and the layout was perfect for giving everyone space and privacy with inviting shared spaces as well. The owner went out of her way to understand the nature of our visit and have items on hand for our arrival that made our stay even more personalized and comfortable. Our visit was short with a packed agenda, but we would love to return to enjoy more of the sightseeing and amenities this area has to offer!
