Inside, the cabin features an inviting open layout with a queen-size bed, a sectional sofa, cable TV, and rustic wood finishes that enhance the serene mountain atmosphere. A large jacuzzi tub provides the perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking or sightseeing. The well-equipped kitchen includes an oven, stove, microwave, and small refrigerator, giving you everything you need to prepare meals or snacks during your stay.

Step outside onto the front porch, where you can relax on the swing and take in panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounding mountains. In the evening, enjoy the stillness of nature and the starry skies that bring the mountains to life.

Nestled on 21 acres of wooded, rolling hills, Lonesome Pine Cabins offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. Just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and I-77, it's the perfect home base for exploring scenic drives, hiking trails, local music venues, and charming wineries and antique shops in nearby towns like Galax, Floyd, and Independence.

Our mountain properties are nestled in the woods, which means you're truly immersed in nature, it's part of the charm! That said, while we take every measure to keep our properties clean and comfortable, you may occasionally see a bug or critter during your stay along with other wild life including bears and deer. This is completely normal for a forested environment and part of the rustic experience. We recommend keeping doors closed and food sealed to help minimize visits from curious insects. If you're especially sensitive to nature's little visitors, feel free to pack some bug spray for added peace of mind!
