À quelques pas de West Cliff. Plage de Cowell, quai municipal, promenade et musée du surf du phare. Spa dans une grande cour arrière privée. Cette maison est sur un coin de rue en cul de sac près de tout. Les deux chambres en bas partagent une salle de bain avec douche. La plus grande chambre a trois lits jumeaux et une télévision. L'autre pièce a des portes coulissantes donnant sur la cour arrière et le bain à remous. Cette chambre a un lit queen. Il y a un grand garage pour 2 voitures en bas d'un petit escalier du premier étage. Le niveau supérieur dispose d'un grand salon avec fenêtres et vue sur le quai. Il y a un porche avec une table et des chaises à côté du salon pour profiter de la brise de l'océan. Le coin repas rejoint le salon et la cuisine. Avec une belle nouvelle table à manger. Entièrement équipé et prêt pour un repas en famille. Grande nouvelle cuisinière et four à gaz, réfrigérateur grande capacité en inox. Il y a un garde-manger avec suffisamment d'espace de rangement pour cacher les ingrédients s'mores. La chambre principale est de l'autre côté de l'étage supérieur. Il y a un balcon avec table et 2 chaises donnant sur la cour arrière et le bain à remous. La vue sur le quai de la falaise ouest est parfaitement configurée pour se détendre et être en famille. Il y a suffisamment d'espace pour avoir la paix et la tranquillité, et d'excellents espaces communs pour réunir tout le monde pour des barbecues ou un salon dans le salon pour regarder un film. Vous pourrez marcher de la porte d'entrée à West Cliff Drive en moins de 3 minutes. Le quai est à seulement 5 minutes, puis vous avez la promenade et la plage de Cowell à quelques minutes de là. Il y a plusieurs merveilleux restaurants sur le quai. Pendant les mois d'été, vous trouverez de la salsa et de la musique en plein air en direct au bar-grill Ideal situé à l'entrée du quai. Il y a aussi des concerts gratuits le vendredi soir sur la promenade. de juin à septembre. Si vous amenez votre chien, il y a une grande promenade dans l'autre sens sur la falaise ouest vers le phare et le musée du surf au champ du phare. Mitchell's Cove a des heures libres pour courir librement et Frisbee. À environ 10 minutes à pied du phare. West Cliff Drive vous emmène du quai jusqu'à la plage des ponts naturels.

Excellent property! Wake to gulls, surf and sea lions. A short walk to Steamer Lane and West Cliff Drive or the Boardwalk, and friendly, welcoming neighbors. House is well equipped and comfortable for even large groups (5 adults) to spend the night. Owners are amazingly responsive and helpful as needed. Overall, a fantastic place to rest and recharge. I look forward to my next visit already!

This property needs some small maintenance care. It is in a lovely location for walking. The rooms are spacious. The kitchen has most everything one would need to cook and a round table in the dining room where we could all sit together for a meal.I reported most of my observations to the property manager. Over all we enjoyed our visit.

Santa Cruz Vacation House
The house and location are great for a family (plus dogs) get together. Between the beach and the Boardwalk, everyone (8 to 55) had something to do. With the two car garage, the bikers in the family could store road bikes for fantastic rids along Cliff Drive. We would recommend this place wholeheartedly!

Came to Santa Cruz for Woodies on the Wharf Event

West Cliff Vacation
An excellent house and beautiful location, a short walk from both West Cliff Drive and the Boardwalk. The view from the balcony, with sea lions calling, was the ideal place to relax a day away. A perfect place from which to attend the Wharf to Wharf race!
House itself was excellent, both comfortable and relaxing. Owners have it well-equipped, with everything needed for laundry, etc. Extra bedding and towels made the stay even more comfortable.
In short, this is a great place to stay and well cared for by the owners. Loved it, and hope to return for next year's race!

West Side Beach House
Our family (especially our Labrador) had an exceptional stay at the house. Located steps away from West Cliff Drive and Lighthouse Field. We loved the enclosed balcony that allowed us to enjoy the views without being in the cold. Plenty of space, a bed for everyone and a good supply of dishes and kitchen supplies that we used to cook family meals for 8. Friendly neighbors too. The one drawback is that the church next door has bells that ring at 7am daily, which may be annoying for those expecting to sleep in. Overall a great house that we would book again!

Great Location!!!
I spent 2 nights here with our friends and 2 dogs. The back yard was large and gave the pups some room to run around while we BBQed. Location is great as it is a few minute walk to the board walk. The only thing I saw that could use a little work was the cleaning outside in the backyard. Lots of spider webs, grill and table were fairly dirty as well so I took the outside hose and cleaned it up some. Otherwise though we had a great stay and Jewlia who rented us the home was very easy to work with.

Great vacation rental
I have been renting houses in Santa Cruz/Capitola/Rio Del Mar area for over 20 years. This
rental was the easiest and most comfortable of all. With view of ocean, pier and even UCSC
meadow, hot tub (easy to use with no problems), large garage, parking, and so close to Cowell
Beach, it was perfect! My grandkids were busy every day paddle boarding, surfing, biking, and
enjoying the hot tub. The rest of us also enjoyed these activities and I went for a walk along the
ocean (West Cliff Drive) at least twice a day. In fact, enjoyed the house so much, have reservations
to stay there, again, in 2 weeks!

UCSC Parents secret spot!!
I needed a spot to stay for my daughters graduation from UCSC. The house was very comfortable and my family enjoyed staying here. After the graduation we enjoyed the backyard, a nice family BBQ followed by a fire and a soak in the hot tub.
It is a short walk to the boardwalk, wharf or the light house. There is space for four cars to park, and plenty of street parking. Nice quiet neighborhood just steps away from all the fun in Santa Cruz.
Good management, there was an issue with part of a fence at the property. I got a call just to make sure that was not going to be an issue before we arrived

Cutest Neighborhood, great house but...
We were pleasantly surprised with the location of this home. We wanted to be in walking distance of the boardwalk and this is the perfect location. Quiet neighborhood and close to everything. We had 2 families of 4 and the only thing that was a little disappointing is that the ad says this property sleeps 8, but it only sleeps 7 in beds. We had 4 adults and 4 teenagers and one of the bedrooms has a King, One has a Double and one has 3 twins. In my opinion, you shouldn't count the couch as a bed unless it pulls out into a sofa. Other than that, this house has it all. It's a gem rental and we would definitely stay here again.

For a house that sleeps 7 or 8 I fill like someone had cleaned out their camping dishes. Alot of small plastic cups. There were only 3 spoons and 4 steak knives that did"nt work well.. The couch was on the ground. Very low and hard to get on or off. Other than that it was a great week. We enjoyed it very much.

Too expensive to be this bad
I hate to leave a bad review, especially since the owner tried to be attentive and helpful, but we won’t be staying here again. We’ve been staying in rental homes in Santa Cruz for years, so we don’t usually expect much (most homes are pretty dated). But at least the others are sanitary and work properly. We lost power twice in 4 days, my husband was too skeeved to use the hot tub, the garbage disposal was broken, and the yard (which is enormous) is full of holes and dead grass to the point the kids couldn’t play out there for risk of breaking an ankle. The tv doesn’t work (no cable and or streaming accounts to use). The pots and pans are so old and scratched up and gross (maybe even dangerous). The ice maker’s broken and just keeps making ice, which makes a mess of the freezer and drips all over the floor. Basically the house is held together with bubble gum. And there was construction behind the house (outside the primary bedroom) and the city was doing work on the street so there were metal plates and smelly asphalt all over. Would have appreciate a head’s up and the choice whether we wanted to live through all that. We stayed there because of the location, which is awesome. But we won’t stay again. I have no idea how on earth others rated this 10/10.

I do know why people rate this house 10 out of 10. It's because they love it and they do come back. That's just not the case with you and your group and that's fine. I offered to come by immediately and deal with the television. There had been a bunch of cables moved and plugs plugged in where they didn't belong. It took me about 2 seconds to figure it out and the TV worked fine.

Wonderful home, location, amenities and management communication.
We checked into this property the afternoon that the previous reviewer and their family had checked out.
Not only was the location exceptional, with an easy walk to the wharf, Boardwalk & beach, but the ocean views from the large windows & glass sliders onto the long enclosed balcony surrounding the entire 2nd floor living area and master bdrm were beautiful.
The 2 car garage and driveway provided ample off street parking for all vehicles in our party of 5 adults.
The house was immaculate, including the cream color carpet, bathrooms and well appointed kitchen with updated stainless appliances & roomy pantry.
All of the rooms were spacious, comfortably furnished and lovingly decorated with beach/ocean theme. The beds & bedding were comfortable (we have demanding older backs) the bath towels thick & plentiful.
The property manager had alerted us to a previous toilet tank leak in the downstairs bath that a plumber had repaired that morning. We found the floor and bath rugs dry, clean & odorless as was the carpeting throughout. Later that night I did discover that there was a very slow exterior drip from the tank handle that I contained with a bath towel on the floor, alerted Jewlia the next day so she had the plumber return. It was clean water from the tank, not a bowl overflow so no odor and never flooded the floor or made it unusable in any way. My husband and I shared this bath with my 91 yr. old mother and we are all fussy housekeepers. It wasn't a problem & did not affect our stay in any way.
We booked this property specifically for it's location near my mother-in-laws home, it's size that would accommodate a 100th birthday party for 40 people, wide interior staircase to transport Mary in her wheelchair to the living area upstairs, open floor plan and beautiful views. It all exceeded our expectations.
The large backyard was perfect for our dog and the outdoor hot tub, next to the orange trees, with view of the full moon over the bay were an added bonus.
The neighborhood is quiet, the neighbors friendly, the wonderful walking on the paved path, overlooking the ocean along East Cliff Dr. a minute away is always beautiful. To be a pet friendly property with a great dog beach just a short stroll is an amenity not often found in rentals of this caliber, yet zero evidence of previous pets other than the dog water bowl in the garage provided by the management.
My sweet mother-in-law and our family will have perfect birthday memories for years to come.

My family had a great time at this vacation house. The location is excellent and has a beautiful view from the upstairs living area of the ocean and boardwalk. The neighborhood was surprisingly peaceful and quiet, considering how busy the boardwalk was. The beds were comfortable, hot tub warm, backyard very nice area.
The house is very casual and perfect for families. The host was very helpful when we needed her which was appreciated.
