Wake up to stunning water views in this charming 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo overlooking the peaceful Gulf bayou. Perfectly situated in the heart of Cedar Key, you’re just a short stroll to quaint shops and seafood restaurants.

Inside, you’ll find a cozy, coastal-inspired space with a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living area, and large windows. Sip your morning coffee from the balcony as the beautiful birds soar by, or unwind in the evening as the sun paints the bayou in golden hues.

Newly renovated 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom both with king size beds and one being a loft in Old Fenimore Mill. This unit is located on the top floor with vaulted ceilings that provide stunning views, giving you a light, airy coastal retreat. The building sits on stilts with covered parking underneath and an additional lot for boat parking, making it ideal for guests who want to bring their own vessel and explore the gulf waters. Old Fenimore is very close to the boat ramp for launching your boat in and out of the water.

Step outside and enjoy the included amenities- a beautiful pool and relaxing hot tub are just steps away. There is also a dock for fishing and a shaded fish cleaning station.

Inside, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living area, and private balcony for enjoying morning coffee, bird watching and evening sunsets.

What an amazing vacation. The Cranes Nest is exactly as advertised. Clean, all your basic amenties, Comfy beds and breaktaking views. Cedar Key is an amazing town and we will be back.

Great host and clean condo. We were staying here while enjoying the great fishing that Cedar Key has to offer. The condo had everything we needed and more. The views from the back porch were great; to sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet of this island was very relaxing after being on the water all day. Recommend renting a golf cart and unplugging while on island time.

What a welcoming feeling walking into The Cranes Nest; after the climb upstairs all we wanted to do was sit on the balcony and marvel at the views- SO worth it! The location is perfect- we walked everywhere. Something to consider is that the closest “real” grocery store is about a 20 minute drive; plan ahead! I think my favorite part of the stay was all the different birds we spotted from the balcony- thanks for the binoculars; I didn’t have to fight with my husband over the pair we brought!

Great place to stay with an amazing view (especially sunset and sunrise). Close to everything but still tucked away so you aren’t right in the middle of town. Host communicated well throughout the process.

The Crane's Nest was absolutely perfect. The location is spectacular, the view is immaculate, and the space is cozy. The proximity to the city park and the little beach is super convenient for our kiddos. We were honestly just disappointed we hadn't planned to stay more than one night. We definitely would choose this place again and recommend it to others.

Located in a complex of about 10-12 buildings with 4-6 units per building, at the end of 2nd Street, with a community pool and hot tub (we didn't use but looked nice). Parking was on ground floor beneath the raised building, with two stories above. Our unit was on top floor, so be aware there are exterior steps to navigate to get to the top. Once inside, one bedroom with king bed on main level, bathroom in the hallway (not en suite), open floor plan kitchen/ living room, and balcony overlooking canals and mangroves and sunrise view. Second king bed up another set of stairs in a loft above kitchen (half walls, no door at top of stairs, so not full private bedroom) that looks down over living room and balcony, but has its own bathroom. Unit was clean, nicely decorated and easy to find, within walking distance of the public beach, park, shops and restaurants in the cute downtown area. Great views from balcony. There is a drip coffee maker, not keurig, so if you like coffee in the morning, plan accordingly. Good communication with the host, who was very responsive. Would have given 5 stars, but all the steps made it difficult for my wife who has knee problems. The listing says top floor, but we thought (mistakenly) there would be an elevator. Again, plan accordingly.
