This guest displayed a serious lack of respect for our property, our house rules, and Vrbo’s community policies. We strongly advise other hosts to use caution or avoid accepting bookings from this guest. The reservation was made for two guests, but they hosted a large unauthorized party of more than 20–30 people, which is a direct violation of both our house rules and Vrbo’s strict no-party policy. A large Halloween event was held without our knowledge or consent, creating significant disturbance to the neighborhood. There were 8–9 cars parked around the property, causing unnecessary disruption. Two pets were brought onto the property despite our clear no-pet policy. The phone number provided was a non-responsive Google Voice number. The guest ignored all calls, text messages, and Vrbo messages. Even Vrbo support was unable to reach them, forcing us to visit the property in person. Unauthorized guests stayed for hours after intervention. The property was left muddy, and there were visible stains on the couch and carpet. The guest promised to update the guest count and pay the additional fee but never did. This entire experience was extremely stressful and showed a clear disregard for honesty, communication, and responsibility as a guest. We have hosted for years and rarely encounter situations like this. Review was clear retaliation
