Country Woods Escape on 4 Acres - Your Home Away From Home! 7 min to Dunes!

This farmhouse has been in our family since 1947 when our grandfather built it for his wife and 3 daughters. It has been lovingly restored in 2025 as both a vacation home for us and you as our guests! The main floor boasts a large open concept living/dining/kitchen with dining for 11 (at 2 tables) a queen-size bedroom with a closet, and a full bath with 52" bathtub. There is a large mudroom in the rear porch for your beach gear and coolers, or to keep your shoes and coats after exploring the property. Upstairs, you will find a full bath and sleeping areas for 7. The West bedroom has a desk space, a closet, and a king bed. The East bedroom is a tandem bedroom. There is a queen and one twin in the main room and 2 twins in the dormer attic. Kids love this space! We do offer the home to a max of 7, but drop us a line to talk about accommodating 9. The front deck is a beautiful spot to enjoy your morning coffee or a cocktail at the end of the day. There are 3 white rockers, a 2 top table as well as a sofa set that seats 5. In the rear, you'll find a fire pit and a wagon for transporting wood, a large picnic table with an umbrella, and a children's zip line. We have over 4 acres of open, walkable property. There is a basketball hoop on the East line of the property and a Volleyball net in the field on the West. In the mudroom, you will find all the sports equipment you need for a quick baseball game, or life-size Connect 4! Please note the basement, garage and red barn are not accessible for your stay.
