It was a fantastic stay. Everything was as described. The checking process was super easy as was the checkout process. Meet us at the dot. Everything was perfect, AC all worked great, hot water perfect, on the beach, grill was new, I recommend 'This is it'. owner and team did a really good job.

Wonderful family vacation

"This is it" is a great property. The place is nicer than the pictures and the rooms are huge. The kitchen was fully stocked and the property has everything you need for an easy, comfortable visit. We loved staying here and are already planning another visit next year. The beach is amazing and practically private.

This is, by far, the best house and location on the island. We had a large family with multiple small children so easy access to the beach, the outdoor seating areas and shower were a must have. This is our second time on Spanish Wells but our 7th summer in the Bahamas. The kitchen is lacking some basic items and pots and pans could use an upgrade but largely everything you need is there. It was also frustrating to not have a working vacuum as I was 24 weeks pregnant with a toddler who was tracking sand everywhere, there was a broom but we had to buy a dust pan. The hosts were responsive to messaging and flexible with our dates which was extremely helpful. We would absolutely rent this property again.

Wonderful week in paradise

We had a great time. This was our 2nd trip to the island. The house has most everything you need- but they could use some new pots and pans. The master didn’t have a shower, which I found a little odd, but the kids enjoyed bath time in the large tub. We had a few issues and the manager (David) was very responsive and helpful. We did pick up an excessive amount of rusty nails on the side of the house… this seems like an accident waiting to happen. You can’t beat the view, private beach, and friendly locals. Spanish wells is a special place.

This really is It!!!

This was our 9th trip to Spanish Wells and this house was by far the best. A wonderful private location on the widest area of the beach with views from almost every room. The house was incredibly well equipped and spotlessly clean (which is not the case everywhere). The furniture is new, clean and extremely comfortable, as are all the beds. We will be back to our favorite island soon and I can assure you we will stay at “This is it” again!! Keith & Kelley H

amazing location, lovely house a dining table on the terrace is needed also plastic cups, plates, bowls etc for kids needed information on transfers, we got badly ripped off with Pinders taxi service when we could have taken a local ferry/taxi instead this was an unpleasant experience

Best time at This Is It

We really enjoyed our stay at This Is It. The house was nicely accommodating for our family and friends. The sunsets and sunrises were amazing and we were fortunate to see the full moon rise on July 3, 2023. It was huge and beautiful. Our only complaint were the flies. They were very annoying. Otherwise we had a wonderful, great time! We loved the house and the views. Thank you.

A week’s Paradise

I and my three adult children and their spouses and my only grandchild had our first vacation together in many years. I had been to Spanish Wells before so I picked place. Everyone thought everything was perfect including the lodging which truly “was it”. There was not a single thing lacking for the entire time from pickup at the airport being arranged until drop off a week later. No details were spared. I have never stayed in a place before that was more conducive to guests enjoyment.

I can’t say enough good things about This Is It. It’s a gorgeous set up. You feel like you have your own private beach. Super clean, comfortable. Everything you need. Gail is an exceptional host. She took care of us the from the start of our trip to the very end. The only bad thing I would say is we didn’t stay long enough lol. We will definitely be back! Thank you Gail!! I miss you already.

There aren’t enough stars to express how wonderful “This Is It” truly is! We celebrated my 40th birthday with a wonderful group of 10 ladies, and it was the perfect choice. The home was beautiful, and the location was absolutely breathtaking.The property manager, Gail, went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. She helped us transport our bags from the dock to the house when we arrived and back to the dock when we departed. She was always available and quick to answer any questions we had.The home had everything we needed and was impeccably equipped—truly beyond perfect. I highly recommend “This Is It” to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway. We’re already looking forward to returning sooner rather than later!
