We had a great stay! The home was perfect and the area is beautiful. The amount of deer we saw was just incredible we had one come right up to our car window. The host was great with communication and while we didn’t bring our dogs we loved how dog friendly the home is. We would definitely come back. My one wish would have been a firepit on the upper deck for early mornings coffee.

Overall, the experience was wonderful. Great views, open floor, great game room for kids, and coffee on the deck in early morning is a must. We loved our stay and would definitely go back. We even lost power during a storm and our host was responsive in a timely manner. Thank you very much

My wife and I often rent cabins in this area, and though most are for larger groups we always enjoy have the place to ourselves. This cabin is very well thought out and well appointed, with a well designed and appointed kitchen, plenty of space, a wonderful outdoors space and a quiet and scenic location. We encountered deer several time during our stay which was a plus. Although the cabin is adjacent to the river, getting down and back up with a 140 stairs can be challenging for us older visitors. We have stayed in this community several times prior and this cabin was certainly one of the best! We would certainly recommend!!

Hi, we’re Craig & Carly—adventure lovers, proud parents of three awesome kids & dog parents to our sweet pup, Theo! We’re big fans of skiing, traveling, & soaking up all the fun the Georgia mountains have to offer—tubing, hiking, and discovering hidden gem wineries & breweries. Hosting is a passion of ours, and we’ve put tons of love and attention into every detail to make sure your stay is comfortable, memorable, & a 10/10 experience!

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We just love Coosawattee River Resort. Tucked into the North Georgia mountains, the area immediately stood out for its peaceful setting—surrounded by forest, wildlife, and the calming presence of the river. It felt like a true escape from the pace of everyday life, while still being an easy drive to all of the attractions of Ellijay and Blue Ridge.

The resort itself was a huge draw. With amenities like multiple pools, river access, hiking trails, fishing ponds, pickleball & tennis courts, and a fitness center, it provides something to enjoy year-round without ever needing to leave the community. It strikes that rare balance of feeling both private and active—whether we want a quiet weekend on the deck or a fun, full day outdoors.

It is also such an easy drive to our favorite wineries, breweries & waterfalls!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

What truly sets our cabin apart is the care, creativity, and attention to detail we’ve poured into making every stay feel special. From the moment you arrive, it’s designed to feel more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience.

In addition to the game room with basketball, air hockey & more, we’ve stocked the cabin with a wide variety of fun, family-friendly games so there’s always something to do, whether it’s a cozy night in or a rainy afternoon. Step outside and you’ll find two inviting outdoor decks, perfect for morning coffee, evening wine, or simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings.

We’ve also added thoughtful touches to make your stay feel personal and memorable—like deer food so you can enjoy the magic of feeding the local wildlife right outside your door, and a s’mores station for those classic, cozy nights under the stars.

Traveling with a furry friend? We’ve made sure they feel just as welcome, with dog bowls, a dog bed and treats ready for them to enjoy.

Inside, comfort and convenience are key. Each room is equipped with an Alexa so everyone can listen to their favorite music or set the perfect vibe, and we’ve included a Keurig coffee maker stocked with a variety of flavors so you can start your mornings with a little extra indulgence.

Every detail has been thoughtfully chosen to create a warm, fun, and relaxing atmosphere—so you can focus on making memories from the moment you walk in.
