This cabin was all we thought it would be. Plenty roomy and had a great view of the lake. The best part was watching the sunset on the beautiful Lake Michigan.

This is a beautiful cabin that comes fully stocked with a large kitchen. It’s very clean and has a wonderful view of Lake Michigan.

We had a wonderful weekend spent in the log cabin house! Enjoyed area, with great views and a beach down a long ramp type hill. Only a few issues I would mention to improve on, need a new coffee maker so it works properly and have a Wifi password that actually works. It would also be very helpful to have a list of items so to know what to do upon checkout.

Comfortable cabin with fantastic sunsets! We enjoyed the huge lawn, fire pit, and close proximity to restaurants and breweries. Our Brittany loved running with the other dogs, chasing squirrels, and cooling off in Lake Michigan!

Girls Trip

We came for the Douglas Halloween Parade and we almost did not want to leave to go to it. We loved the place and the hospitality of the property manager and home owners! Iris the dog was a very welcome surprise. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location; great grounds; great landlord

We stayed here for a long weekend visit. The cabin is spacious and clean. The grounds, access to the lake is perfect, especially if you have kids or a dog. There was a welcome bottle of wine in the kitchen and landlord is very hands off although he lives next door. We had a great time and would stay here again.

Couldn’t have asked for anything more! Beautiful property! Beautiful views! Walk down to the beach area was perfect, cabin was cozy. Right off the interstate, but tucked away in the woods. Dog friendly was a must, so was grateful they were allowed so we had the opportunity to enjoy this piece of paradise!

Our Story....
begins every spring with the first of the guests that arrive after a seemingly long and gray winter season. We have always eagerly awaited the arrival of the families; some with children that can not wait to kick off shoes and run down the beach. There are the folks with the children being full grown and will enjoy a day or several - with them and the grandchildren, to enjoy the calming sound of Lake Michigan waves or the comfort of the country air to breathe. Certainly the wonderful friends that have returned year after year have become more like our extended family. Come and experience the calming effect of this cabin on the lake; you will experience the Lake Michigan shoreline like never before!
