A quick walk to the World Arena for local concerts and events, and an easy drive to Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Pikes Peak, and Pikes Peak International Raceway! Pikes Peak State College is at the top of the hill, and Fort Carson Gate 4 at the end of the street! The Royal Gorge, Salida, and Woodland Park are just a couple of clicks away! Enjoy the close-by downtown night life of Colorado Springs, the eclectic vibe of Manitou Springs. So much to see and do you will have to come back to Base Camp for relax, refresh, reload, and do it again tomorrow!

The property was great! The space is set up very nice. There were 7 of us staying here and there was enough room for everyone to be comfortable. Clean and neat. My only suggestion would be to bring towels for the hot tub so you don’t have to use the bath towels for both.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay; it was the ideal retreat to return to after a day of hiking and exploration. The hot tub and theater room were particular highlights for us. Everything was impeccably clean, and the hosts had thoughtfully prepared for all the little details, such as extra soft throw blankets, an abundance of pillows for our movie nights, and a well-stocked coffee bar.

We had a great stay! The home was clean, well maintained, and a perfect fit for our two families. The owner was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and wonderful to communicate with.More towels would have been helpful, especially after using the hot tub. While the home is a little outside the main attractions and tourist areas, it offered a quieter place to unwind after busy days exploring. We recommend this home for families looking for a comfortable place to stay. If you’re in the area, be sure to check out MOD Pizza—it was a hit with our family!

Good location and great place to stay with recent updates. A couple ideas for this newer place:Having a binder with instructions and local info would be nice. The second bedroom upstairs could use a mirror in it. It would be nice to have extra towels. We just had enough for everyone but we didn’t use the hot tub and if we had we wouldn’t have had enough towels

The host was friendly and welcoming. All the extra amenities such as the hot tub, the theater room, strong wi-fi, and the roomy kitchen, made this home very special. The house was nicely decorated, clean, and cozy. We will definitely keep this one on our list of favorites.

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Our host was terrific. We recently stayed at this luxuriously decorated home. Everything was fantastic with wonderful touches throughout. It was immaculate, inviting, bright and relaxing! The kids absolutely loved the movie theater room! The beds and bedding felt like you were staying at a high-end hotel, so cozy. We would absolutely love to go back again!

The price is great, the host is super quick to respond, and house is very clean. Our kids said 10/10! Listing says 3pm check in and day of check in we got a message it’s 4pm. Host was apologetic and did let us know as soon as it was ready (before 3)! The house is roomy and perfect for a large group! Host keeps plenty of extra blankets which is nice downstairs where it is so cool! The movie room is amazing as there is tons of space and multiple kids slept on the oversized recliners! The little door is adorable in movie room, the kids called it their house. There is a lock so they can’t go through to laundry room. I wish laundry room had a latch up top though so kids didn’t go around to just unlatch little door. The upstairs is very hot no matter how low thermostat was so we all stayed downstairs but it’s very roomy down there . Hot tub cover slides easily and no lock on it so kids could slide cover slightly open, but the flip bar to take cover all the way off is broken. Lifting entire cover on and off is heavy and takes two adults. There was not dish soap in kitchen. Also no larger pans to cook pancakes and eggs at same time for a large group. Definitely could use more cooking supplies so you can cook for a large group. We went out and bought us a larger frying pan. No VRBO is perfect but the important things were perfect! Clean, responsive, spacious, and no big issues! We left happy!

This house was the perfect size for our family. We enjoyed the hot tub and home theater room. The house was close to Garden of the God's and Pikes Peak. Plenty of dining options are close by.

My family of 6 were in Colorado Springs for 2 nights and this was a great place to stay!! Shawn was great and very communicative. The house was great and updated and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much Shawn!!!

Very clean, very comfy! Communication with the host was fantastic! Lovely rooms, super cool theater room. Hot tub lid was broken, but we managed to open and close with 3 people assisting to avoid further damage. Freezer door doesn't open all the way because of a wall it's right up against, and the microwave door was broken on the bottom so you had to pull it open from the top to avoid breaking it all the way off. I'm short, so I had to have someone else open it each time LOL. Friendly rabbit visited every morning and every night! Neighborhood looks a little sketch. The house is way too nice for the neighborhood. I would stay here again though because of how great the inside comfort was, and because of how open the communication was with the host!

Fantastic property, very clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and the hot tub was so refreshing. The property is far enough away to where it's not too busy, but close enough everything we wanted to do was within 20 minutes. Within 5 minutes from a Walmart and Sam's club as well which was nice. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.
