First the positive⊠the room was beautiful. We loved the view. The beds were comfortable. Owners are nice! The negativeâŠthe room was dusty, counters, door, comforter on our bed, because the entire RT resort was having the concrete walks on every floor redone. This was NOT mentioned anywhere or we definitely would not have booked here! I had seen a lot of resorts in PCB that mentioned repair work in their important info to know section by owner, so we didnât choose those, but unfortunately the owners did not update that with this unit AND the room cost didnât reflect that. The tiki bar was also closed Valentines Day weekend and that was not disclosed either. Then our second day there.. we stayed 3 nights.. our TV stopped working and we spent an hour trying to get the remote to communicate with the tv, but at least the bedroom tv worked. So, not such a great Valentines weekend getaway.The owner apologized for the dust when I reached out as soon as we got in the room & he sent me 60. He offered to refund my stay, but we would have had to find another place last minute, so we just stayed. If we had known the tv was going to malfunction and the tiki bar was closed, we would have taken the refund offer! We come every year in the off season and thereâs too many options that donât have these issues and for the price we paid, so we donât feel we got a good deal with this rental. We wanted to try a different place then our usual 3 places we always stay, but wish we had not done that!
