My wife and love the newest of the cabin. The fire place was wonderful. There was a problem with the wife. Very slow but thank god my wife had a wife hot spot. There a lot of stick bugs in there. I killed about 4/5.

A little fishing and some peaceful time away sounds like a weekend well spent! Thank you for your 10 out of 10 review. We’re delighted you enjoyed the privacy of Cabin #1 and made the most of the onsite fishing. Our stocked fishing pond is a favorite part of Hawksbill Retreat, and it’s wonderful to hear it was a highlight for you. With 45 acres of grounds, walking trails, gazebos, and mountain scenery, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors at your own pace before heading back to your cozy cabin. If you’d like to explore more on your next visit, the Shenandoah River offers additional fishing and seasonal paddling opportunities. You could also discover Luray Caverns, take a scenic drive through Shenandoah National Park, or enjoy horseback riding at Jordan Hollow Stables.
