Great location. Very convenient to the beach. Plenty of room for a large family. Many things need some updating-lots of little things in disrepair. A little pricey compared to other homes I have stayed in that were in better condition. Having a cleaner, more comfortable place would have made it worth the value. All in all we had an enjoyable time.

Short walk to the beach!

We enjoyed our stay. Had mostly everything you needed and it was a super short walk down the road and across the street to the public beach access. Very convenient with having a two year old and infant. It’s also a short drive to a few restaurants and local coffee shop which was nice! We would stay here again!

Perfect little spot

This house is older and a little dated but was great for our beach trip. It is a short 2 min walk to the beach. The front porch is amazing you can see the waterway and beach. Love that it is dog friendly. Customer service was also amazing and attentive. Will book again

Perfect Holden Getaway

We loved staying here. It was just a short 3 minute walk to the beach and loved the fenced in yard for the dog. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans and utensils to make cooking a breeze. Beds are comfortable and

Good house!

Pros: very convenient location, short walk to beach, quiet but still also close to things. Pet friendly! Cons: house is showing its age a bit, but still in good shape overall.

Lovely Place!

Overall the place was great! We really enjoyed the location of the house and the cleanliness that it had. There were only a few things that we had noticed within the house that could use a few updates and fixes. But overall we were very pleased with our stay, and are looking to book this place again for next year!

Great getaway!

We booked this home for a little last minute spring break getaway. The home was great and had newer floors and furniture. The neighborhood was quiet and we even had a little view of the ocean and ICW from the front porch. The public beach access is a very short walk at the end of the road. We would definitely return again in the future.

Great location but dated home

We loved the proximity to the beach and that there was a fenced in back yard for pets. The home could have used a good cleaning, as the kitchen was rather dusty from seeming disuse. Some of the appliances were dated but functional.

Best Getaway

This was the cleanest, coziest, and spacious beach house for my family and I. We loved the Owenly Place To Be! The views from the porch, especially on the swing are just stunning. This was our first ever time in Holden Beach and the beauty and QUIET is exactly what we needed. Forced us to relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean horizon. We were accommodated so well and everything was just perfect. So thankful for such a cozy stay. We hope to be back one day!

Nice house

Everything was great , the beds were uncomfortable for everyone. Some were like laying on box springs. Some foam mattresses off amazon for 150 each would fix every bed. Loved the house and location , thank you for having us.

Thank you, Jeff, for your feedback. We are happy you enjoyed this home. While we understand that sleeping preferences vary widely, we are sorry to hear that the bed did not provide for a comfortable night of rest. We will continue to work with both our local staff and homeowner to make improvements to this home, and we hope you'll give us a second chance to impress you.

Great Stay at the Beach!

This house was in a great location. It is not on the beach, but you walk half a block to the end of the street the house is on and you are at the beach access. It is only a couple minutes from the bridge if you need to go to the mainland for food or beach supplies. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking & eating. The rooms were large & spacious. The beds were comfortable. The house is a bit dated, but it didn't take away from our experience.

Nice Location

Liked the amount of bathrooms, the supplied towels are hotel grade. Pet friendly, back yard fence low but my dogs enjoyed running around in the yard. Nice size kitchen. Plenty of beds. Front deck swing could have been fixed prior to renting. Back deck needs to be refinished. Someone complained about our dogs barking but every house on the street had barking dogs.

Thank you for staying with us, Jon. Maintenance is scheduled to repair the deck swing and back deck. We appreciate this helpful feedback and hope to see you again!
