Our place sits at the very tip of the peninsula, with the bay, the ocean, and the jetty framing the best views in San Diego. One property from the calm, warm bay and about 100 yards from the ocean: two very different beaches, a two-minute walk apart.

This is our three-bedroom, two-bath upper second floor unit within a triplex. High ceilings, tiled floors, and a spacious open layout. The renovated kitchen has top-of-the-line appliances and granite counters. The master suite has a large glass shower, a whirlpool tub, and dual vanities.

Then there are the decks. Three outdoor spaces: a garden patio with a grill and picnic area downstairs, a balcony off the master with ocean views, and a large rooftop deck with a firetable looking out over Mission Bay to the east, the jetty to the south, and Ocean Beach to the west. It's where you'll spend every sunset.

Sleeps 13 with all beds fully utilized. Ideal for extended families and groups who want room to spread out with the beach and bay right outside.

THE SPACE

Second-floor unit with a third-floor rooftop deck. Private entry, three patios, grill, and parking.

Master bedroom — King bed, plus a day bed with twin trundle
Second bedroom — Queen bed
Third bedroom — full-over-full bunk with twin trundle
Living room — full convertible sofa (linens stored in the chaise section)

Included: kitchen (cookware, coffee maker, blender, toaster), three smart TVs with Netflix, dependable WiFi, all linens and towels, free washer/dryer with detergent, ceiling and standing fans, central heat, parking for one car, grill with propane, beach gear (boogie boards, sand toys, chairs, towels), outdoor shower to rinse off sand.

GOOD TO KNOW

The third bedroom is accessed through the master, and the two share an ocean-view patio. Usually great for families with kids; worth knowing if you're splitting the house between couples.

This is an upper-floor unit, so there are stairs to the living space and up to the rooftop deck.

No A/C, like most homes in Mission Beach; every room has a fan and the coastal breeze keeps it comfortable year round.

Quiet neighborhood, quiet hours after 10 PM — off the rooftop and patios. A relaxing base, not a party spot.

Parking for one car. Extra cars use the large free lot at Mission Point Park or street parking.

HOUSE RULES

Check-in after 3 PM (coded door, no key exchange). No early check-in / late check-out, but we'll hold bags. Quiet hours after 10 PM, including the rooftop. No parties, no smoking, no pets. Violations forfeit the security deposit.

STAYS & MINIMUMS

2 nights weekdays, 4 nights weekends, one week Sat–Sat in summer (Mid June – Mid August), 5 nights Thanksgiving and winter holidays.
