Great property, a 2-minute walk to the beach, close to Penneshaw shops. Great views of the dolphins swimming in the early morning and evening. The property has excellent furnishings and amenities suited for the holidaymaker. We honestly thought this property was fantastic and look forward to staying again.

Penneshaw Dream #takemeback

The house has an excellent design and makes the most of the amazing sea views. Everything you need is on hand including a hammock. Fabulous location with direct access to the beach and an ideal base to view the rest of the island. Especially enjoyed viewing the local dolphin pod from the house. Highly recommend the house and will definitely return.

Couldn’t Be Happier

Lovely experience all around. The location is perfect, with a quiet beach just in front. Between the dolphins and the ferries coming and going, there was always something to watch. Be aware there is an easy entrance in the back with only one step. It was a week to remember happily.

Stunning view!

Our party of four adults were very impressed with the Blue Shack. The house was modern, spacious and comfortable, a relaxing place to return to after a day out exploring the island. The location was superb, sitting on the deck watching the dolphins frolicking in the sea whilst sipping our morning coffee was one of the highlights ( be aware, BYO Lavazza Modo Mio pods as these are not available on KI). We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend if planning a trip to KI.

Perfect!

The property was beautifully designed, immaculately clean, fully stocked with everything one may need, directly across the road from the beach (with unbelievable views of the ocean and dolphins) and very close to the ferry terminal, cafes, shops and post office. The property manager was very welcoming and attentive, as were the locals and other visitors on the island. I highly recommend this property and look forward to returning in the near-future. Thank you to the property manager for the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful home on one of the most beautiful islands in the world. We had an unforgettable time.

Great spot, lovely house

Would definitely return. Spot was so lovely we parked ourselves here for a while. Kids enjoyed the beach, which is literally over the road. Owner is easy to communicate with. Could have done with some extra towels, fridge is bare on arrival & a bedroom door didn’t close, but otherwise there’s everything you need.

Stunning views, exceptional home in beautiful Penneshaw.

Property was in the perfect location, fantastic views of the bay in Penneshaw, easy to walk to local cafe's and the main beach. Modern, well equipped home, perfect for 3 couples, house had everything you need for the perfect beach holiday. Luxury but had a homey feel. It was great to be able to sit out on the deck and enjoy the beautiful sunset. Would definitely recommend this property to friends and family we will be coming back. Thanks we had a wonderful holiday. A few little maintenance suggestions- the fridge has a leak we needed to mop up water each morning, one of the bedroom doors had a faulty handle that would stick (person couldn't get out of the room had to be opened from living area) and also the main bathroom door would often stick. Minor things but thought the owner would like to know.
