The Space:

Live like a local in this darling, two-bedroom Pacific City home, nestled among trees on a quiet road that’s close to everything while still feeling away from it all. Rise each morning and take a cup of coffee out to your large, private deck, which backs up to a stand of trees. After a relaxing start, head inside to make breakfast and wake the rest of your crew. The open, homey floor plan means you won't feel left out while you're flipping pancakes and little helpers perch on one of the four barstools to watch. The well-equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, plenty of counter space, and all the gadgets you need to prep a meal. At meal time, eat together at the adjacent dining table for six. Once everyone is fed and ready, head out to explore. You're 0.4 miles from Pacific City Beach – stop in at Pelican Brewing on your walk back for a frosty beverage. When you return from a day out exploring, toss your beach clothes in the wash, fire up the wood stove, and get cozy in the living room while you watch a little TV on the flatscreen. A perfect vacation day has come to an end – drift off to sleep dreaming of the one you'll have tomorrow.

Amazing stay

We had such a great time. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The view was gorgeous, even saw some deer outback while we were enjoying dinner. We will definitely be staying there again

Lovely home that’s close to the beach.

Really enjoyed staying in the home, and the wood stove provided a nice fire on the cool nights so we stayed warm. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of games, books, and puzzles to enjoy when wanting to stay indoors. We hope to stay here again in the future and recommend this lovely home as a place to stay when visiting Pacific City.

Good Space

This home has great open living space and is only a short walk to the pub and beach. Overall great stay. Only gripe is checkout is 10am not 11am like most rentals. Felt a bit rushed the last morning.

Comfortable quiet home

Nice place well appointed. Only negative is they have low child size toilets. They need to put and adult size at least in the master bath.

Very nice little cottage. Five minute walk to the beach and Pelican Brewery. Plenty of extra towels, linens, and blankets. Only complaint is there was no DVD player or kettle to make hot water

Nice well appointed and locate home

While not "right on the beach" within a short walk. Woods behind- a deer visited us! Great layout, great beds. Kitchen needed microwave safe mugs so we bought and left two. Toilets are low for those with hip problems. Very quiet. Serene view.

The TV in the living room, or the remote, doesn’t work properly. You cannot control the volume. The.

Best deal in Pacific City

The house has been updated and it felt very cozy. It was also very clean and stocked with lots of extras. It was perfect for our family. The space in the backyard is also nice if you have a dog. The backyard leads to a cool hiking trail up the hill. Our son and dog loved it. In terms of location, it's a simple walk to Pelican/beach. The road leading up to the house was kind of beat up. It had a lot of huge pot holes and when it rained they got filled up with water which made driving through them an adventure. Not that the house has anything to do with per se. The city needs to address that for the residents and guests. We've stayed in Pacific City in past and the rentals are getting expensive for how small the town is. For a two bedroom place, you can't beat this deal. We'd certainly stay here again.

Real cute place, but some quirks

Overall our stay was a positive one. We loved the proximity to the beach, the privacy, and the coziness of the place. We did find some dishes that weren’t fully clean in the cupboards, the wifi was a bit spotty, and the direct tv service was fairly difficult to figure out. Some of the windows don’t have screens on them and if they do, they are not in the best shape. We sleep with the window open and used the one window in our room with a screen. I woke up in the middle of the night with a fairly large spider on my face. My guess was that it got in through a tear on the window screen. So, overall nice place, but it would be great if they fixed the window screens.
