The Space:

This was a charming convenient house for my family! Clean, good views, everything we needed for a really fun vacation. Communication was a bit difficult with Vacasa because I did not sign up for the app.

Great house for a family.

This is a great location if you just want to be able to walk down to the beach as a family or as one person and another one just watch from the dining table.

Cozy place near the beach

We had a lovely time at this cozy house to celebrate thanksgiving with our family. Plenty of room for six people and a dog, and a great location near the beach. The beds were in varying degrees of uncomfortable, but everything else was great!

Three Arch Rock

Great house to rent for an Oregon Coast getaway. The attn to detail after the last remodel was impeccable. Nice short walking distance to the beach. Just wish the property had a BBQ.

Great location, good house

When we arrived, the outlets and electronics were not working. There was no way to communicate with the host because there’s no cell service in Oceanside unless your accommodations have WiFi. We figured out some fuses must have blown, found the fuse box, and got everything up and running again. The rest of our stay was great. House was clean and comfortable. Some of the furniture had been changed out since the property photos had been taken. The walk to the beach was short. We enjoyed the porch. Beds were comfy. Lots of stairs. Not for anyone with mobility issues.

Thank you for sharing your experience, we're pleased you found our home clean and comfortable and that you had a great stay! That said, we apologize for the issues you encountered and shared your comments with the local manager. They assured us that new photos are scheduled to be taken to show the new furniture and the fuse box was inspected and is working properly. As noted, there is no cell service in the area unless connected to WiFi. We enjoyed having you as our guest and we hope to host you again.

Problems

To cook dinner selected pan and put on stove. Heated it set off the fire alarm. Apparently the pan had something on the bottom. Difficulty cleaning "it" off the stove. One garbage bag liner for a weeks stay of 7 people. One roll of paper towel--spare roll under the sink was soaking wet. Only hangers for clothes were 3-4 on the back of doors to 2 bedrooms. Locale is excellent. House was well furnished but amenities were lacking. We love Oceanside and have stayed at several different places but this was very disconcerting.

Oceanside beach house

We were only at the property for two nights. Our party included three adults and one springer spaniel. The house was super clean and the yard was lovely. We didn't use the upstairs bedroom and seating area because the stairs are very steep. We were concerned about traveling them down at night to use the bathroom. The bedrooms are small and had no hangers, so we couldn't hang up any clothes. The bathroom is lovely and quite small. The kitchen was great: well equipped and spacious with plenty of storage for our food. The living room and dining room were open and light with a view from the dining room of the ocean down the road. The house is a stone's throw from the beach, but the road is somewhat steep. (An elderly neighbor was walking up with his wife and slipped and fell on rain-dampened pavement and had difficulty getting up.)

Oceanside OR beach retreat

Location was great for us, just a short walk to the beach and the (only) two local restaurants. House is newly remodeled and was comfortable. Beds were comfortable but on the firmer side, most of the pillows available were pretty firm. Kitchen is pretty bare bones, just the very basics provided. Couldn’t find a spatula, and only salt, pepper, seafood seasoning and coffee were provided. Be sure to bring your own groceries with any condiments and spices you need, and get your perishables, fruit and vegetables in Tillamook as the local stores don’t carry a lot. Plan to go to Netarts or Tillamook for meals mid week if you aren’t cooking- the local restaurants have limited hours and may not be open. Internet was excellent, lots of TV stations and Netflix, but no books, games or puzzles, so again, bring your own along. Would be nice to have a soap dish in the bathroom and a shampoo/soap holder in the shower.

Overall: 3/5Pet-friendly house close to the beach, best for 3–4 people. Layout would feel tight for 6 guests. Wi-Fi and cell service were very limited. Close beach access. Cleanliness: 4/5Well maintained for a pet-friendly rental. Floors were sandy/dusty, but bedding was clean. Some laundry supplies were missing.Management: 1.5/5Clear check-in instructions, but difficult to reach support due to poor signal. Internet and TV never worked during the stay. Check out instructions sent upon request. But due too noted wifi was not received in time. Amenities: 2/5Major listed amenities were present, but most soap dispensers were empty or broken. Heating was inconsistent, though space heaters were provided.Space/Location: 4/5Great beach access within a short walk. Rooms were small with an unusual layout. Limited beach views. Located at a sloped corner lot. Only fits one car in driveway. Family Friendly: 2/5Limited child safety features, steep stairs across 3 levels, and weak cell service. Pack-and-play was available. Shower only, no tub.
