Booked this place, excited for our time in Tampa. We left sorely disappointed.A few things were unusual:- Communication wasn’t great. We’ve stayed at many VRBOs and it’s fairly common to see check in instructions and the actual address a day or two ahead. That didn’t happen here and to simply get the address to navigate the day of check in I had to spend time with VRBO support, the host wasn’t answering.- Then, they stated check in details would be sent promptly at the exact time of check in. 3 PM.- Then I received an email stating the previous party created more of a mess than expected so we might be met with cleaning crews upon check in. We diverted to give them more time.- When we did get to the property the unit heavily was permeated with cigarette smoke. In a non- smoking unit. The photos are generous and don’t accurately represent the space - it’s clean-ish but run down. Hallways were dirty, windows in the unit were questionable to open.We did not stay. We were disappointed, out a place to stay and remedying the situation when we requested a refund took more than a week (they declined any sort of refund - we had to work with VRBO direct). We wouldn’t recommend this spot. When we book we expect something close to what’s advertised - this was a big miss.
