This place was perfect for our family with children. It was close enough to walk to the beach & Starbucks! My husband & I slept upstairs on a very comfy bed. The towels & bedding are a nice quality too! We'd definitely stay here again.

Property was as expected. The high ceilings downstairs were nice. Host was very responsive and helpful. I enjoyed being able to safely walk to the casino.and beach.

Perfect for us

The house matches the online description. Plenty of space, ocean views from two of the decks. Close to plenty of stores and activities nearby and just one block from beach access.

The good part. The house is huge and everyone had their own area. The other part. The cookware was sub standard for such a huge house. It did not have larger items to cook larger amounts of food, and a lot of it was nonstick and terribly scratched. We also had to wash a lot of it, as it was not clean. There was only one threadbare hand towel in total for the kitchen. There were no paper towels. They were also no facial tissues, so we bought a six pack and left them around the house. The recliner downstairs was broken. The couch in the main living room was broken and had the pillows placed so you couldn’t see the wood frame that was visible if you moved them. There were not enough blankets in the house for all the beds. The beds were made with sheets and a coverlet. There were various corners that had little piles of dead bugs and old crackers. Another good part was the location, it’s very close to the beach and the walk down to the entrance is just beautiful. All in all, it was fine, but we wouldn’t stay there again as we don’t have enough space to pack our own cookware, paper towels, facial tissues, and blankets. We aren’t going camping and we expect a house to have those things. All the years we’ve vacationed in houses, we’ve never not had house have those things.

Thank you Tess for expressing your concerns about our property. There is a cotton quilt-like blanket on each bed and I am sorry you did not think this was sufficient for your stay. There are also a couple other blankets around so I will ask the cleaners why they were missed from your stay. I just went through the kitchen this week and there were two large casserole dishes, a large pot and pan, several cookie sheets, a large mixing bowl, 2 large glass platters plates and two crockpots and many other cookware dishes so again, I'm sorry you did not feel this was sufficient for our 1700 sq ft home. We have stayed at numerous homes that didn't even have half of what we offer. The cleaners are also suppose to leave a roll of paper towels for each stay, which hangs on the door below the sink. We do not generally provide facial tissue. I will also address the potato bugs with the cleaners as these are very common at the beach and we spray throughout the year for them but they must not be cleaning to par. We just thoroughly cleaned it this past week and made sure everything was stocked. Thank you.

Beautiful home, very clean. It was nice that the Ocean was in walking distance. The only thing needed was a water hose to help wash off the sand from the beach and a recycle bin for all the water bottles

Perfect place for making wonderful memories

This was an absolutely wonderful place. Great location, close to everything in town. We walked to the beach everyday, sometimes twice a day. Walking distance to grocery stores and great restaurants. Loved everyday we were there and hated to to leave. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Lincoln City. My wife loved that you could see and hear the beach from the main deck and upper deck. Great place!!

Very Spacious Lovely House

This place was layed out nice and accomodated our group of 6 very easily. With 3 baths and 3 rooms we were never running into each other. The place seemed like it had not had guest recently as there was spider webs on front door and in some areas of the house. Also no central TV were we could all hang out and relax. Otherwise this place is perfect. We had a great trip and will absolutely rwnt again. hadhave

Very nice house, only one complaint

This is a lovely house. It is attractive and light and clean. There are multiple decks on this three-story house for enjoying the pleasant, mildly salty air. The views of the ocean are teeny, but this location does help to block the constant beach breeze considerably. Besides, the gentle walk to the beach is only about 4 minutes. Get to the beach. That's why you came, right? You are expected to wash any dishes you use. Fair enough. There is a dishwasher. You are expected to take out all your trash. This is common courtesy. "Pack it in. Pack it out." Here's the rub: You are requested to strip all used bed linens and all used towels and washcloths and run at least one load in the washing machine. This should not be requested of guests. We pay a substantial fee for cleaning. If this is requested and the guests do follow this request, the guests should be reimbursed part of the cleaning fee. We are on vacation! Why burden us with our regular home chores and still charge a hefty cleaning fee?

The living area is tiny.. The property could have been a bit cleaner. There was a large dark nest of cobwebs behind the downstairs bathroom bath. There were hairs in the bed linens. There were only a total of about 10 hangers in the entire place, a couple garbage bags a roll of paper towels and a small bag of laundry soap. For the price. There could have been a bit more attention to detail. The kitchen is nicely stocked with an assortment of appliances. The views sre beautiful.. My grandfather left his cane behind.. The property owner went above and beyond to get the cane back to us.

Fall beach trip 2021

The house was better than advertised! Nice quiet neighborhood that is a short walk to a beautiful beach that isn’t overly crowded. The house had nice views of the ocean from the kitchen and the room upstairs. There were 4 adults and 2 teenage kids in our party and we had more than enough room at the house. JR was super helpful and made the check in smooth! I would definitely stay here again!

Family Memorial Trip

We were very pleased with the accommodations. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It was pretty close to a beach access and easy to get around to short errands without having to cross Hwy 101 to go to the store, etc. We would be happy to stay here again. Thank you again.

Better than hotels

Thank you for allowing our crews to stay. It is so much nicer to have the comforts of a home when having to work out of town for months at a time. The guys were very happy & felt quite spoiled at how nice it was. Thanks again.

Dishasher and Bed broken upon arrival

The dishwasher was broken so we had to handwash any dishes. One of the bed frames was broken so a guest had to sleep on the floor. It made the stay pretty uncomfortable.
