Composed of a diverse array of charming beach communities and quaint eclectic neighborhoods, the beaches along Florida Scenic Hwy 30A in South Walton County in Northwest Florida have a collective appeal to just about everyone. Each of the sixteen neighborhoods has it's own unique style and affords a different vacation experience. Today Pinkie was checking out a lovely new guest nest in the desirable 30A community of Blueater Landing in Blue Mountain Beach. This sought-after collection of private homes stands waiting as the perfect backdrop on which to paint your next 30A vacation. With all of the modern updates you would expect in a 2023 build, this inviting coastal retreat comfortably accommodates 15 guests with a sense of style and elegance. Taking its cue from its name, Bluehaven offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle and yet is in the heart of the action on Florida's popular Hwy 30A. Spanning three floors, the guest accommodations are both comfortable and chic with four king suites, a smaller twin bedroom and the spacious lower level bunk room.

Cool coastal flooring and shiplap accent walls set the stage so the transitional style décor can do its thing throughout this 6-bedroom / 6-bath home. The sleek modern kitchen with Quartz counters ad all new stainless appliances seemed to be just waiting for a gourmet chef to put it to the test. For a minute, Pinkie was tempted to whip up a quick shrimp scampi but decided to continue her tour instead. It was impossible not to notice the great flow in this stylish venue. The dining table could seat 6 plus 4 more at the counter. Images of fun dinner parties immediately began forming in Pinkie's head. As she turned towards the stairs she noticed something she did not find very often....a screen porch!

Named after the plentiful Blue Lupine flower that blankets the dunes here, this community is also the point of highest elevation in the county at a whopping 65 ft! Discover local eateries like Johnny McTighe's Irish Pub or Cowgirl Kitchen... there's a dining experience for everyone in the group to be sure. Not often found in nature, a coastal lake affords untold opportunities for recreation along with bird-watching and wildlife-viewing. Paddleboard or canoe through nearby Big Redfish Lake and enjoy the quiet beauty of this peaceful setting. Hike or bike along the 19 miles of The Timpoochee Trail and top of your day with a double scoop of delicious ice cream at The Blue Mountain Creamery.
