Rivers Edge offers the serenity of mountain life and the beauty of nature all wrapped up in a spectacular location with nearby access to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown shopping. This charming home has been tastefully renovated and sits right on the Big Thompson River! The contemporary mountain chic décor along with a fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds will have you dreaming about extending your vacation for sure! The beautiful views from the windows and porches are absolutely breathtaking and you can let your worries drift away with the sights and sounds of nature and the rushing river just out the back door. Rivers Edge features 3 bedrooms, 2 with adjoining baths, plus a half-bath. The kitchen is stocked with all of the cooking utensils, appliances, cookware, and even spices you will need to make you feel right at home and it is open to the dining and living areas to keep everyone connected. And, after a day of adventure, you can come back to your home-away-from-home and snuggle up to a wood-burning fireplace with your favorite book and a warm beverage. What more could you ask for? This house was great. Awesome amenities is well kept large but cozy. The management company and owners were very accommodating and we had a great weekend. Highly recommend staying here whether it’s two people or more.

Family 4th of July Trip

Location, location, location!! This cabin was absolutely perfect and being on the river was so tranquil and relaxing!! We had a wonderful stay and would love to visit this cabin again. We love Estes Park and have been enjoying it for decades!! Many more to come!

Great stay, but house needs improvements. Master bedroom mattress should have been replaced yesterday and fridge should have ice cubes and filtered water. Besides that we loved the house and location.

Very nice cabin right on the river. Clean and well decorated. Only issue was code to open door wouldn’t work but property manager quickly resolved the issue.

The house and very clean and the beds were comfortable. Only a short drive to downtown and the views from the back deck were spectacular. A fantastic place to stay.

We have stayed at this house the last 3 summers. We love it; it works well for our small group. We had some difficulty with communication at first since all communications had to go through email not phone, so a lag in response due to email delivery. Previous visits there was someone onsite to respond to our calls. However, we were able to get everything taken care of satisfactorily.

Perfect Location

Great place to stay, right on the river. Our family had the best time hanging out on the back patio, listening to the river. We grilled out, enjoyed the family games and puzzles, and the beds were very comfortable.

The ratings reflect the prior property management company. My wife and I assumed management of our property in January, 2026. She and I visited the Estes Park area in the summer of 2020 when we brought our daughter to work at the YMCA of the Rockies. We rented a cabin on the Big Thompson River and completely fell in love with everything about the location. We purchased Rivers Edge late that summer with an eye toward spending extended time there when we retire. We have furnished, decorated, and supplied it as our home and hope you will enjoy and care for our it as much as we do.

The little community of Blue Spruce Village has been a favorite of visitors since it was a fishing camp in the 1950's and possibly earlier. The Country-Victorian cottages are so quaint and the owners are neighborly.

Rivers Edge Retreat is literally steps from the Big Thompson River and you can spend the day enjoying the back porch watching the river rush by in the summer or trickle in the winter. The river invites a variety of wildlife to enjoy as well. The location is unique in that it feels secluded but you are minutes from The Rocky Mountain National Park, the YMCA of the Rockies, and downtown Estes Park.
