Beautiful fall views. Truly unbeatable location with plenty of room for different activities. Host dinner on the main floor with open access to the sprawling deck (& grill) while guests watch football on the middle floor & kids play games on the lowest level. Highly recommend! Hosts were easy to contact & responded promptly.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely amazing experience. A beautiful spot with a stunning view on a very comfortable deck. So many comfy seats to relax. The bedrooms and beds are very comfortable. We had everything we needed in the house and the directions were pretty good but don't miss that second turn onto the right road.

Friends Weekend at Hickory Nut Lodge

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at Hickory Nut. The house was so clean and well maintained. It was one of the nicest places we have rented. It was stocked with everything you could need. We appreciated the supply of some basic food items, such as salt and pepper. But the highlight was the deck and the view! Having the firepit for the cool mornings and evenings was great! We enjoyed the hiking trails in the area and visited Point Lookout Winery, which was a very nice venue. Although there is still recovery going on, we loved the area and the friendly people. You can't go wrong staying here!

We had an excellent stay in this beautiful home. Comfy rooms, great entertainment area downstairs, and everything we needed in the kitchen. The porch was the star of the whole vacation. Incredible views and Chimney Rock clearly in sight. We hope to stay here again in the near future!

Great vacation location

Perfect place for our trip. Stunning views, great location with quick drive to Chimney Rock State Park, hiking trails, grocery store, Lake Lure. The house had everything we needed. Would love to go back in the summer!!
