Our stay in Sandwich, MA was great and we enjoyed exploring the Upper Cape Cod area. Fantastic and fun biking along the Shining Sea Bikeway located in Falmouth, great dining in nearby E. Sandwich & Mashpee, etc. Visited our son as his wife as they were staying in Hyannis. The weekend weather was quite hot for Cape Cod, but it's August so not that unusual.Owner Adrain was very responsive to all communications, provided a very well-equipped rental unit with many amenities and small touches, too numerous to list. Kitchen had a great deal of useful items and washer/dryer was helpful as we could reduce packing and clean clothes during our trip.The property is private and generally quiet, especially in the evenings. Nice grounds and landscaping, well lit at night. We felt safe and liked the location, close drive to many areas and accessible to Rt. 6.The couple above our 1st floor unit were no problem during our visit. Much like us, they seemed to be awake fairly early mornings, exploring with daytime activities, dining at night, and back to the rental cottage getting rest by 11 p.m. or so. I have difficulty with sleeping comfortable on firm foam pillows so not the most comfortable for me. I would have preferred the availability of a few "down alternative" type in the mix of pillows on the two queen beds. The front BDR queen mattress was quite low to floor so if you have any mobility issues it could be easier to use the rear bedroom (also queen) instead.
