ÉlĂ©gante maison contemporaine sur mesure de 2 Ă©tages. 2 chambres, 2 salles de bain, grands jardins paysagers avant et arriĂšre, planchers de bois franc partout, superbe cuisine, et bien plus encore. 4 couchages (jusqu'Ă  6 avec futon et lit double gonflable). Chambre propre et moderne en bas avec un lit queen. La salle de bain est juste devant la porte. A l'Ă©tage, la chambre a un lit double et une autre salle de bain complĂšte adjacente. Un futon dans le salon se replie en un lit double.
La cuisine est moderne et entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e, avec un coin repas qui mĂšne au pont arriĂšre
 parfait pour le cafĂ© au soleil du matin et les barbecues de l'aprĂšs-midi ou du soir. Le pont avant est parfait pour regarder le coucher de soleil en Californie. Le secret le mieux gardé de la baie de San Francisco ... Benicia est une charmante petite ville sur le détroit de Carquinez juste à cÎté de la baie de San Francisco. Il y a une merveilleuse variété de restaurants, bars, antiquaires et magasins de proximité à distance de marche de la maison. Un marché fermier qui a lieu sur First Street tous les jeudis aprÚs-midi, est accessible à pied. Benicia, autrefois la capitale de la Californie, est l'endroit idéal pour explorer tant de Californie du Nord.

This is the best spot ever! The house is beautiful and oh so comfy. The plus is the backyard for the dogs which was one of the main selling points for this place, it allowed pets. The host Stephen was wonderful to communicate with just a pleasure! 5 stars

This house was absolutely perfect for our stay. It’s a lovely home that is immaculately kept and well appointed. Stef was amazing along the way and very responsive and accommodating. We spent hours on the back porch enjoying the weather and each other’s company and the house is close to everything you could want to do in Benicia.

The house is conveniently located to freeways and close to downtown. The backyard is fenced and perfect for dogs. Lots of space to spread out in this tri-level home. Safe, quiet neighborhood and everything you need in the spacious kitchen.

This property was a great place to call home while we were in town visiting family and friends! It was roomy, very clean, and had all the amenities we needed!!! The kitchen was roomy and was updated. There were plenty of places to hang out in the property. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Stef is very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Benicia or the Bay Area. It was within walking distance to the quaint downtown area and the marina. We would love to stay there again.

This is a nice house in a nice area. Very clean inside, and a nice kitchen.Back yard needs some TLC, although there is an orange tree and a walnut tree, which was very cool. I would change the description of the property to "tri-level" and not a 2-story. There are LOTS of stairs inside. A set of stairs to get from the main bedroom to the kitchen. Two sets of stairs to get from the 2nd bedroom to the kitchen. A set of stairs to get to the backyard from the kitchen. Also the outside area that shows outdoor furniture, the furniture is no longer there and that area isn't useful for sitting as it is not taken care of.

Family Visit

Unfortunately we were not able to stay the entire time. However, the property was very responsive and understanding. For the time my family was at the property, they were comfortable and had all the amenities they required. The location of the property in a good location.

Loved the home & location, a perfect stay!

Completely seamless & a wonderful stay. Very central location in a quiet neighborhood. Felt at home and we all slept well. I'll definitely stay again when we are back to Benicia. Stef was great at responding quickly & there was even a cute little booklet at the property with house info for every question you could think of. We had a great stay.

Lovely home with musical touches

We stayed in Stef's home for a wedding in Benicia and the house was perfect. Loved the Beatles photos. The house is beautifully appointed and has everything you could want. Very comfortable and our dog loved the fenced yard and walkable neighborhood.

Wonderful!

My sister and I had a lovely stay in this Benicia gem! The property was very much as advertised in the listing and photos. Be aware - the kitchen/living room is a few steps down from the family room/lower level bedroom/bathroom (this wasn't clear from the listing/photos). Not a big deal at all for us but may be for guests with mobility issues. Stef always replied promptly and was a joy to interact with. It was hot during our stay so we especially appreciated the air conditioner, ventilation fan, shaded back deck, ice maker and chilled filtered water. The TV/sound system instructions could use some updating but this didn't affect us too much as we didn't have time to watch too much TV. The backyard was lovely and the fruit trees provided sweet treats (a few plums had ripened for us to enjoy during our stay). The reviews are correct -- this property is easily a 5 out 5. Easy access to the freeway (but far enough away that you don't get the noise). Also easy access to the grocery store, awesome little shops of downtown Benicia, and the beautiful waterfront. If we ever find ourselves in the San Francisco Bay area again, we will book this property again! Thanks for a wonderful stay, Stef!

Benicia get away

We had the best get away in this beautiful home. Stef was amazing and very attentive to all needs and questions. The house is beautiful and well stocked. Very convenient location for our stay. Would absolutely recommend and hope to stay here again.

First trip to San Fransisco area

This place was very clean and had everything we needed. It’s a great location with easy access to get from San Fransisco and tour the surrounding areas such as Napa, Muir Woods, and the ferry to get back to San Fran without driving for the day. It was also very convenient to drive to downtown Benicia. The host was very informative and responsive to all messages. I definitely would recommend this place.

Great 7-week stay in Benicia!

We had a great time staying at Stef's house with our dog. The home is walkable to 1st St (downtown Benicia), which has lots of cute shops and restaurants, and also close to the freeway. The house is spacious, very clean and comfortable. Stef was very communicative and flexible, including allowing us to check in early. We would definitely return!

Beautiful Home

The house was beautiful, well located, and is very well equipped. Communication with the owner was excellent. The owner is not only an excellent communicator, but was also very accommodating to our needs. Lots of on street parking. Calm, quiet neighborhood. Very walkable to downtown locations. Beautiful, fenced backyard/deck space.

What a charming, clean house

From the moment one walks through the door it feels like home. It is so comfortable and beautifully restored. It smells of furniture polish and has a very happy feel about it. The kitchen is well stalked and big enough to cook a meal. The open plan living/dining room is spacious and the high ceiling makes it very airy. A couple of the upstairs rooms are locked, but two bedrooms and two bathrooms are plenty enough space to stretch out. The backyard is large and offers good space for a dog to roam. There is a small grassy part below the deck that leads into a hidden little wilderness, perfect for dogs and children to play. The main floor bedroom mattress is on the firmer side. All appliances we used were in perfect working order. Some of the kitchen lights were flickering, but even with them turned off the place was bright enough. The TV was a challenge to sort out. We just pressed several buttons until we had success, this took a few minutes every day. But there is certainly enough reading material to keep one occupied. The neighbourhood is quiet but not necessarily ideal to walk a dog. But it feels safe and with the grassy front and backyard there is enough space for a dog to play a little ball. The only thing I would ask the owner to consider is to install a motion light on the porch. It was very difficult to operate the keypad in the dark on our arrival. Thank you for letting us stay, we would not hesitate to rent this house again when working in the area.

Benicia gem

This property was perfect for 2 couples traveling together. The separation of bedroom and baths on both floors and the open floor space made it work great. Stef (owner) is great to work with and has the home set up with everything to make our four day stay very comfortable. The home is very conveniently located to safe walking to grocery store, bakery, restaurants and water front in Benicia. It is also conveniently located for day trips to Muir Wood, Wine Country and both Oakland and San Francisco. We would definitely book again.

Fun, Safe, Perfect!

This was the perfect place to stay for our family. Very comfortable and easily accessible to all modes of transportation to the city. We quickly acclimated and called this place home! When we weren’t out on an excursion, Benecia provided its own comfort with a variety of shops, restaurants, and views of the water. Everything we needed was right here in this wonderful place to stay!
